    I will go further.....

    * EVERYBODY knows that 164 demand was a blatant obvious duck

    * IF Ward said the same thing regarding Kovalev, that he was willing to fight Fonfara and Chilemba at 175, but Kovalev would have to agree to 171..... everyone would be saying it was a blatant duck.

      * Ward won a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics

      * Ward signed to compete in a knockout tourney against the very best

      * Ward beat the heavily favored Kessler in the first round of the tourney

      * Ward won the Super-6 tourney, establishing himself as the best SMW on the planet and the P4P #2.

Since then, NOBODY has been favored to beat Ward for obvious reasons.

And that obvious reason, is why Golovkin will not fight him.
I was gonna chime in , but your carving these guys up pretty handily !

GGG is asking for 164 because he is the A-side to Ward, So why should he give the weight advantage to the B-side???

Now if GGG had already fought at least once at 168 then I would've object and thats the difference with PBF and GGG, PBF already fought multiple times above 147 which is JMW(147.1-154) thats why GGG-Floyd should be at 154 if not at 157(which is fair)

Besides Ward was ready to come down to 160 for PBF So 164 shouldnt be a problem for him.

        168-175 tho

ward said anyone from 168-175 3 years ago, then when kova called him out he backed out like a biitch. also keep in mind ward fought at 178 in Olympics.AND comes in 185 at fight night in the Pros.

Its the 15th paragraph, ward said anyone from 168-175

Here are three occasions where Kovalev/team called ward out,

        Its the 6th question

So WARDOS, you guys remember GGG's 154-168 but chose to forget Ward's 168-175 + He said he will be HW champ by age 32

        • By the way people... once again...

THERE WAS NEVER ANY OFFER FOR A FIGHT AT 164. NO OFFER. NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE TWO CAMPS. NO DISCUSSION. NOTHING. NADA. CAN EVERYONE READ THAT AND THEN READ IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AS MANY TIMES AS NECESSARY UNTIL IT SINKS INTO YOUR HEADS.

No serious poster should ever refer to that comment as if it was a legitimate offer ever again. Doing so automatically proves that YDKSAB.

          Thank you.

We don't even know if there was a 164 demand. We don't even know if there were any actual negotions over the offer Ward made after GGG had signed for Lemieux.

The only time 164 was mentioned was in response to a hypothetical question during an interview.

Not the same thing as actual negotiations over a real offer, and not a "demand" even by your very loose standards.

You're projecting, Ward has yet to offer any LHW a fight. Additionally Kovalev already stated he wouldn't accept a cw with Ward.

"Going up to light heavyweight for the right fight -- not to campaign up there, but for the right fight -- is an option." - Ward, December 2011. Ward said that then fought the LHW champ Dawson at 168 and then turned down a 2 fight offer vs the next LHW champ Stevenson for both 168 & 175. So that's Ward's track record with LHW's so far, not a very good one. Jay Z did offer Thomas Oosthuizen a fight this summer but didn't disclose at what weight.

Oh there is this from Cedric Agnew after his team was approached -
Agnew is hopeful that super middleweight kingpin, Andre Ward, would be willing to fight him in his return bout at 168 or 175.

“It would be a struggle to move down to 168, but I would do it to face Ward. I think he should move up to 175 to take me on because everyone would see it as a tune-up for Kovalev as he switches weight classes, but I doubt he will. He knows I’m not worth the risk,” said Agnew.

Eh, there kinda was. Golovkin himself went on ESPN and said he would at 164 50/50. That really is an unofficial yet legit offer, but obviously team Ward didn't accept. But at the same time he already had the Lemieux fight set. Either way it should be considered an indirect negotiation along with this bs offer sent by RN after the Lemieux fight was already announced. All indirect negotiating.

You a-side/b-side wankers are gonna look real ****** when Hypekin refuses to give Cotto/Canelo a catchweight.

                  Just saying.....

                    That is absolute rubbish.

There most definitely was an offer, and it was rejected outright according to Team Golovkin..... they responded with a 164 catchweight demand and then refused to concede..... effectively killing any chance for a meaningful negotiation.
