nothing, but let's give him a chance to prove that he's the best at 160 in the ring first, eh?Originally posted by Son Of GodWhats wrong with the best at 160 fighting the best at 168?
as a golovkin fan it's not enough for me to simply believe that he's the best middleweight, i want to actually witness him take out the main competitors. that would be entertaining for meComment

Ward Kovalev makes more sense right noe. It's more competitive, right, and neither guy has solid options, unlike Ggg. So what's the holdup?Originally posted by Son Of GodWhats wrong with the best at 160 fighting the best at 168? Nobodys obsessing. Golovkin and his team sound intimitaded.Comment

Yea and so would a lot of people on here. But the fact of the matter, just because it is a meaningful fight doesn't mean it sells to casuals. Ward has the potential to have a huge fanbase, but right now he is irrelevant to casuals. Your only as good as your last fight. Gennady has been fighting the biggest names possible that would play ball and accept a fair w split since he has been the main draw for a while. But guys like Quillin, Jacobs, Cotto, and Alvarez are pretty much untouchable because coming to the table has not been a priority. Also for those that want to complain about GGG fighting Canelo, Canelo has been rehydrating to the mid 170s. Canelo is also a much bigger name than Ward.because Hopkins said he would never fight ward.
and stop making excuses.
ggg vs ward is one of the best fights that can be made in boxing.
**** all that who's a draw bull****.
every fighter ggg fought couldn't draw and he still fought them.
I would pay ppv to see ggg vs sogComment

Reminds you of Haye when he talked up the Klitschko fight but give Haye the credit he deserves he went up to heavyweight to come get that fight whereas the ***** Ward expects everyone to come down to 168lbs for him yet his pathetic fans claim he is a big name and that he deserves to be P4P 1/2.
These fans are in the minority so you're correct we should ignore him let the racists cry whilst their inactive fighter tries to chase a fighter that's never left Australia to come fight in Oakland against him
Two birds of a feather both guys never traveled and Dunn told Andre Fraud to go do one lmao, small time pub fighter.Comment

No, you assume me talking about ward means I am a fan of his. I watched his last fight as I watch any fight. GGG's NSB base has a lot of ex Manny and Matthysse fans who jumped off once they lost. That doesn't mean all of his base is.mate you are one of the prime examples of a mayweather fan/pacquiao detractor who simply transferred your allegiances to ward so that you'd have something new to bicker about endlessly. it's pretty funny how we didn't hear a peep from ward's "fans" until he latched onto the golovkin hype, now suddenly they're everywhere and getting more fanatical by the day. golovkin's fanbase exists independently of ward; the reverse is not the case. people only support ward because of his juxtaposition with golovkin. at least on nsb
what you have seen me do is argue with and attempt to ether those whose issues with Ward are melanin related. I do that with fighters I like-Floyd, fighters I respect but do not like-Ward, fighters I do not respect or like-Broner and Wilder.
As the scumbag wing of GGG's base has grown, you will see more opposition to them.Comment

The problem with this is he didn't care about unifying belts at 160 when he thought he could go to 168 for an easy win for a nice payday. Only when Ward's name came up did he fall back to unification as his goal.nothing, but let's give him a chance to prove that he's the best at 160 in the ring first, eh?

why can't you admit this and why don't you see the hypocrisy?Comment

What da fck does that have to do with my post you dumb fck lolLike how people latch onto fighters because they have a false sense of security of them not being beaten and when they finally do get beaten you trash them and throw them down in the gutter prime example poor Adrien Broner, he never deserved a bunch of crap fans like you atleast he has the balls to fight the guys who didn't favour him stylistically and he did it without having to constantly clinch, push and foul away to get a win.Comment

This guy is just using GGG's hype to get his going again. The best thing to do is to keep him irrelevant by not talking about him and not reacting to what he says. Let the GGG haters and "Ward fans" say whatever they want, they're also just trying to keep Ward relevant by using GGG and want a new fighter to hate, in this case it is GGG. Don't you find it funny that they're trying to make this whole situation into a Mayweather-Pacquiao and they're generalizing as well. According to them, if you're GGG fan you were also a Pac fan. If you don't like Ward you're apparently a racist and also hate Mayweather. The only racist appear to be them, as they're the ones that can't seem to have a conversation without bringing up race.Reminds you of Haye when he talked up the Klitschko fight but give Haye the credit he deserves he went up to heavyweight to come get that fight whereas the ***** Ward expects everyone to come down to 168lbs for him yet his pathetic fans claim he is a big name and that he deserves to be P4P 1/2.

People should just stop talking about Ward. Let the people that hate GGG burn and say whatever they want. If you don't pay attention to them, they won't know what to do.
GGG has a big fight ahead of him in Lemieux. Lemieux is a strong puncher and we can't be too confident, because what if David connects a huge punch on GGG?Comment

He always cared about unifying duh. It's only now that his profile has grown so much to make unifications possible. Plus Chavez and Froch were both massive money and exposure. Real dumb pointThe problem with this is he didn't care about unifying belts at 160 when he thought he could go to 168 for an easy win for a nice payday. Only when Ward's name came up did he fall back to unification as his goal.
