Ward saying for years he would take over 175 then suddenly changing his mind when Kovalev won a belt and challenging middleweights when he can barely even make 168 earned him this years "Paulie Malignaggi Award", which recognizes guys who used to be good at boxing but now divide their time between ringside commentary and wallowing in self pity.
Andre ward is desperate

It's also funny seeing non GGG fans not comprehend the reasons why he would fight those 2 and not Ward. Boxing is a business until the guy you don't like makes a business decision I guess.Comment

(1)Bullshit. It's called moving the goal post once your bluffed is called.(1)Time moves on and circumstances change. GGG was trying to make fights with Froch and Chavez, and he would have been the B side to both. You don't ask for a CW when you are chasing a fight yourself.
GGG wasn't chasing Ward. Ward was chasing him, or pretending to, at a time when GGG had other options on the table. (2)If a fighter recieves a challenge from a man in a higher division, he has every right to ask for a CW.
(2)ggg & his team stated that they had troubles making fights so that they'll fight ANYONE 154-168 lbs. (Also ya don't say that about Ward-Dawson. That's called being hypocritical).
Thsoe are called excuses.Comment

What does that have to do with fighting Froch & Chavez Jr at 168, but Ward at 164?
Cuz Ward isn't a "draw"?
What a weak ass excuse. Especially considering:

Desperation is what I want to see in a professional athlete. That means he's hungry for a big fight and to fight the best fighters in the world.
Cowardice and an unwilling to fight the best on the other hand, is not tolerable.Comment

lets be honest would any one miss ward if he never fights again?
the public is not demanding any fight with him at all.Comment

you're right taking a loss at this point would be bad business for little g. There's a reason why team ggg killed the fight by insisting on a catch weight that Ward can't possibly make. 33 and counting and still not even one A list opponent. Le Mew is a step up but not a huge step.Comment
