I don't understand the idiots who want Ward to move up before he fights GGG! What kinda boxing fan are you? Instead of Ward fighting GGG and then Kovalev so that we get 2 great fights, u idiots want Ward to go up to fight Kovalev so that ur hero doesn't have to fight him, if Ward moves up to 175 u can forget about GGG vs Ward for good. He's not moving back down and GGG won't move up to 175.

I understand GGG wanting to fight the winner of Canelo Cotto cuz of financial reasons, he's 33 and still didn't make money, but a move up to 168 and a potential fight with Ward should be his next priority, in the meanwhile Ward should clean out 168 once more and Kovalev should do the same at 175.

Kovalev basically has cleaned out 175. He is only missing one title and that is behind the Haymon Protection Agency walls. He offered to fight Beterbiev and Beterbiev tucked his tail and said no thanks.

GGG needs to complete his title unification. That means the Cotto-Canelo winner and then Lee - Saunders winner.'

In the meantime, Ward can actually get his butt back into the ring against any of the champions at SMW. Let him rematch Abraham and then go after Jack and DeGale. Unfortunately for Ward, he may have to leave Oakland to do that which may be a huge impediment for him. But he needs to prove himself before deserving a shot at either GGG or Kovalev.

Good luck with that. Attempting to do that will cause Cotto or Canelo to be stripped of their title. No catchweights in a mandatory defense. The winner of that fight will have to man up or admit they are not in the same league and vacate their title.
