Typical Response! Always trying to steer Ward to 175 when he starts talking about GGG...Mind you GGG fans and Abel Sanchez, they started this, they came looking for Ward, Ward did not go looking for them nor did he mention them or issue a challenge to them initially. Everything Ward says about GGG is "In Responds To..."

      4. Ward has been at 168lbs basically his entire pro career.

      5. Ward has notable names on his resume and is critically acclaimed as a great boxer by both most fans and media. He has financial and legacy bargaining power in any negotiations he goes into.

      6. GGG is the complete opposite. He has NO NOTABLE NAMES and does not want to risk his record and place in boxing right now by fighting ward when he has NO LEVERAGE WHATSOEVER.

      7. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fans should appreciate such careful career planning.

      8. GGG is a 160 pounder.
      9. Ward is a career 168 pounder who has already worn out his welcome and finished his business at his division. Why does he act like the black Joe Calzaghe?

      10. The RIGHTEOUS SON OF GOD thing to do would be to stop waiting out a fighter smaller than you that fights in a division lower than you and has had no fights vs anybody notable and finally do the right thing and move up to 175lbs, and fight many notable guys for more legacy, fame, and fortune....
you're a fraud!!...tell your husband to take aa heavy dose of "MAN THE **** UP"

Dude, are we supposed to believe everything boxing promoters say about their fighters? The line you referenced, which several idiots also reference on this message board was something that GGG's team was saying when he first starting fighting in the united states, nobody knew who he was, and he was trying to make a name for himself.

And look what happened. He made a name for himself, by staying active, and knocking anyone the f**k out that dared to step in the ring with him. Now he is a legit star and he is in line for a real superfight.

Meanwhile Ward took the opposite approach to his career, and now nobody cares about him...and its his own fault. And yes, roc nation needs for him to have a big fight soon because they are losing millions on that dumb investment.

You're right. If they want to stay in their division and unify, it's their right. However, Kovalev and GGG are putting in work in their division while Ward isn't.

Yes he does. He cleaned out 168 already. He cleaned out 168 a couple years ago actually. Move up or don't fight. Do you realize absolutely zero people would be talking about Ward and his career right now if it wasn't for GGG? Every fighter moves up eventually.

GGG has never fought above 160. Ward's last fight was at 172. He's aleady fighting at LHW.
