Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: Mayweather Not TBE, Could Be in Top Five

Former champion Amir Khan does not agree with Floyd Mayweather's claim to be being "TBE" - The Best Ever.

A few weeks ago, Mayweather visited ESPN Deportes and selected himself as the best fighter of all-time. That move created a lot of static on the social networks, because most fans and historians rank fighters like Sugar Ray Robinson, Robert Duran, Julio Cesar Chavez and Muhammad Ali ahead of him.

Using an unbiased analysis, of all the fighters in the top 25, and where Mayweather matches up with their accomplishments, I think Mayweather belongs in the 10-20 ATG. That's still a hell of an accomplishment.

all that retirement talk is for a network to offer him the most money. hes a free agent now. .breaking marciano record is definitely in his mind, hes a competitor, he will sit alone at 50-0..then after that he'll call it a day.

A lot of these fighters rate Mayweather top 5 all time. Mosley, Judah, Thurman, Porter and now Khan.

            Floyd beats Leonard and Robinson.

He loses to Hagler and Hearns.

            He beats Chavez.

            Loses to Duran.

            He beats Tito.

            Loses to Pryor.

Rather be in the top 5 than not even the top 100 ever, Amir : )

Good post, But I believe Mayweather beats Hearns. But Hagler would beat Mayweather.
