If Ward beats all these guys...

People don't get the point. The question is, if Ward theoretically DID beat the 5 opponents I listed, including Kovalev, would you then rank him as one of the best ever?

Will you then rank him as one of the best ever? He already got a respectable list of good victories. Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Dawson, Rodriguez, Bika and Miranda.

He is very good but he stopped fighting real good boxers a few years ago. He may have been better a few years ago than he is now. He only fights about once a year now and he is not fighting anybody very good. He is never going to beat all of those guys or even 2 or 3 of them and he wouldn't dare fight Kovalev. If he did fight and defeat everyone on your list he would be one of if not the best 168 pounders in history. But he won't do that.

If he beats them all at at their best and fairly, then that would be incredible. Especially Kovalev at 175. I don't think Ward's in a hurry to fight Kovalev though, hell he's not in a hurry to fight anyone, he hasn't even got his third straight, shaking off the ring rust/comeback fight scheduled yet.

No... The main part of your question was "if", and I don't believe any but maybe 2 of those fights occur. Ward is in his mid-thirties and does not compete enough to even be ranked in the top 100...
I was a fan of Wards but his lack of drive to compete in the sport is sad. He showed huge potential as the possible p4p future #1 but refuses to move up or down... Unlike many, Ward had the great privilege to unify the titles at SMW in such a short amount of time... Yet didn't do anything after besides making the champ above move down and hasn't done anything of relivance since..
Ward is just getting older with no big fight in what seems almost 5 years... Will we ever see a meaningful fight in his recent future? I doubt it!

why do you think ward hasnt moved up yet despite being a career 168 pounder , despite being an amateur 175lb champion, despite wiping out 168 already???
he's scared of kovalev who is not clumsy. GGG is clumsy, not Kovalev.
of course kovalev beats ward.
stop being ******. if you can.
Golovkin is the better fighter between the two
