I dont see khan have much success either. Hes sloppy, leaves himself open, his chin is well below average and he cant handle pressure. The only thing he even has vs mayweather is handspeed. Theres way too many gaps for floyd to exploit.

the thing is - Floyd wouldn't pressure him and Floyd doesn't commit to his punches so as to leave himself open for a counter; thus, not a lot of power either. Khan would be trouble fir him. styles make fights, and Khan v Mayweather would be an intriguing boxing fight

One Time is absolutely a better choice than Khan, or Berto for that matter. The only people who would have complained about One Time over Khan are Khan fans. And we already know they're not to be taken seriously.

Even the majority of Floyd fans couldn't defend Berto. So that old saying, "no matter who", doesn't apply. Just keep it real.

Stylistically, Thurman would have been a better matchup for Floyd... to look good. I agree with Paulie... Khan beats Floyd.

Heres something someone should elaborate on. Why would Thurman be able to beat Floyd? Only thing I see going for him is his overhand right and youth. Khan is the only one I'd tab to beat Floyd decisively. Maybe Pac if he could use his right hand effectively without a rotator cuff tear

If you claim yourself as the best ever, you should always fight the best, especially when fighting twice a year. But I will say this: if thurman got the fight and actually beat a declining floyd, I would be pissed. A historically average fighter reaping the benefits of beating an atg would have me fuming. Dude would all of a sudden start calling himself an atg.
