Now that Floyd is retired... which bandwagon are all his fans jumping to?

Mayweather had tons of fans and they don't all think alike. All his fans will not all pick the same new favorite fighter. Many different good fighters will become the new favorite fighter of some of his millions of fans. Lots of boxing fans like myself are fans of Mayweather's boxing skills but don't think of him as their favorite fighter. They are Myweather fans but not Mayweather fanatics.

blacks supporting blacks is absolutely crazy in the eyes of the world, pretty funny right? like i support all fighters and respect them but ive always had a closer bond to fighters of my race tyson, sugar ray, tony, benn, RJJ, sweet pea, floyd, etc... i just relate to them more... the same reason mexicans and PR support their fighters... Others hate this because its dangerous to everything they have been taught and think of us... they loved nwa, lil wayne, and all these rappers that promote violence, they love the beef between rappers, fighters, etc... but supporting one another and being proud about it.... thats just a no no...

Its not that supporting Floyd is a problem, is that he has many casual non-boxing followers who defend him about any issue and don't know sht about the sport. The majority are black fans. Floyd says Pac is juicing they run with it, Floyd says fk Top Rank they all say fk Top Rank, Floyd fights less than competitive competition they all say people are haters etc..but yet he gets an exception about an IV three weeks after the fight and his fans claims its all made up. I don't blame them though. Many women like Rhonda Rhousy and root for her but don't know anything about MMA. Everybody likes a winner.

You don't think manny breeds those same type of fans that dksab? If Floyd doesn't fight good comp, then what does that say about every other boxer out there?

Floyd's fans (The Big Dunn, Burner, HansGruber, BrushMyHair, 12TRIBEsRiSe, Larry, Pigeons, Skillspaybills, etc) already support Andre Ward, Errol Spence, Deontay Wilder, etc.

And they disparage and discredit, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, Manny Pacquiao, Wladimir Klitschko, etc.

I'm on this site for two years or more and I saw way more Floyd haters who hated just almost every other black fighters based on their ethnic than "pro black" Floyd fans. There are a few pro black racist here who support everyone who is black but there's way more "white pride" bollocks here.

Everyone does that to everyone though. Remember when the term "great white hope" was in vogue?

It doesn't really make any sense now after the European wave hit but in the domestic days, if you rooted for one of the few remaining white American boxers it was instantly implied you were racist.

A lot of people who got tired of hearing that are quick to point out how the tables have turned and the thinning number of black American champions clung to just like the white ones were.

Everyone cheers for guys they have something in common with then cries about everyone else doing the same thing.

Nothing wrong with it to me. I would find a black guy from philly who loves watching Russians beat the **** out of his guys a bit creepy.

Once again, supporting a fighter you relate to or is from where you are from is perfectly fine. It's when you CONSTANTLY BASH fighters who are different that I have an issue with.

Look at it this way, I can see a guy who supports GGG, Kovalev,and Loma. That's perfectly fine if you relate to them, but if you bash every black fighter while never seeing the faults of those three you are a bigot, simple and plain.
Moreover, there isn't a "thinning" of anything. There are a copious amount of black, champions, challengers, and legends. "Great Black Hope" isn't a phrase in the American lexicon because it isn't needed.

Just because people notice or mention you cheer for other blacks doesn't mean they really care or are bothered by it.

Sometimes what you may perceive as double standards is actually you being overly sensitive.
