Brilliant career. Tonight was hardly going out with a **** but it is what it is. We all knew how this fight was going to go. I hope he does retire tonight and i hope Manny retires if slave master Arum allows him. It's time for the new blood now. I wouldn't want to see Floyd or Manny too being beaten by guys who couldn't have laced their gloves. Berto even put up a better fight than Manny. Besides, it'll be nice to go on forums without sifting through ridiculous arguments between their fanboys just to find some decent boxing talk. Both guys are shot in my opinion, well not shot but nowhere close to what they were. Mayweather doesn't have 3 minutes fight per round in him anymore. He just disguises his age well.

So if Floyd retires then congratulations, you were the best of your era and that's all you can be.

It's time for a new era in boxing now and i think boxing is in decent shape.

Great Career but it is time for something NEW! Let see who steps up and can be that next Crossover Superstar. I don't think it will be another Crossover Superstar on the level of a Mayweather. With everything being Online and more and more Streaming Services and all that stuff I don't think his PPV Records will come close to being Broken but some new Superstars will emerge eventually

Love him or hate him, he's the absolute best of his era and that's why he was always held to a much higher standard than everyone in his era and even people from the past.

49-0, 26-0 in championship fights, P4P best for like 10 years of his career and top 10 P4P since the 90s, 18 year world champion, 5 weight classes.

That being said, I think he couldn't make a better decision than to retire, the Floyd Mayweather that I know is looooooooong gone, has been since 2012, but every champion has these last 1 or 2 performances in him and his were against Canelo and Pacquiao, definitley time to hang them up.

I haven't missed a Floyd fight since his win over Sosa in 2003. I will definitely miss his presence and dominance over the sport. Not the greatest ever but definitely top 10 or maybe even top 5 GOAT IMO.
