If you fight your fight and win almost every round, u did a damn good job, this man is being held to an extremely high standard, the man has been past prime since 2011 2012, him being the best P4P in the world at that age, with all that money in the bank and at that stage of his career is remarkable, how do u expect him to fight a guys like Berto at 38 the same way he fought Gatti at 27? The man is old and is about to hang them up, tell me anyone in ths history of the sport who was that dominant and consistent from the age of 21 till 38 without a loss?

Picked a cherry picked fight and coasted as the thread title emphasizes. Amazing!

nothing else to prove.. he has conquered every big name of his time. you can count on one hand the number of times Floyd has be staggered in a 20 year career.. he has taken the least punishment, the king of accuracy and reflexes, the master of footwork. TBE. THE BEST EVER.

He did not fight berto the way he fought gatti. I will not allow you, or anyone else, to try to rewrite history. Not gonna happen. Best of our generation? Maybe. Great fighter? Sure. Hall of famer? Absolutely. But do not attempt to rewrite history.

It's been a long and fun ride. All I can say is cong**** on a decorated career to a bona fide ATG, and the undisputed best of his era.

                    • All I know is that mayweather ran, clinched, used illegal elbows, and managed to turn in possibly the most boring fight of his career. This was no "masterclass" and it was certainly no "art". It was an aging fighter, going up against a handpicked fighter who was 3-3 in his last 6 fights, and he still managed to get tagged all night by berto's jabs, and he ate a few overhand rights. Of course the *****s will start a circle jerk for the next 2-3 days, but at least this is the end of such a crappy era. Good riddance.
