It may not be their rep here, where HBO propaganda rules the roost, but facts are facts.

FACT: *This year* Pascal was offered the chance to be Stevenson's mandatory by the WBC and Pascal declined.

FACT: *This year* Stevenson agreed to fight his mandatory Kovalev and Kovalev backed out and relinquished his mandatory position.

All four of those fighters have done what their teams thought was best for their careers.

And that's fine.

The problem is that some of you are fools and have lapped up this nonsense that somehow Stevenson is ducking HBO's guys when the exact opposite is true.

HBO boxing, Golden Boy, Main Events, etc all go out of business or cease to exist on any notable scale if Haymon is successful.

Lawsuits and propaganda will be the name of the game as they desperately cling to whatever scraps they have left.

But the facts don't support the premise that Stevenson is ducking anyone. Stevenson and Kovalev were on a collision course. The purse bid was ordered. 50/50 split. All the belts on the line. All four organizations on board. The mandatory position, the 50/50 split, etc all request by Kovalev.

Kovalev backed out.

Case closed.

Pascal is not taking 25% lol being the more popular fighter in Quebec. You saw the link, Stevenson blew him off again. And what's so hard to understand: Kovalev is not going to purse bid cause he has an EXCLUSIVE HBO contract, unlike free agent Stevenson. There's a standing offer of 50/50 to Adonis on HBO, for way more money and exposure than he can get elsewhere. Sure enough he goes on to fight a scrub for way less of everything. That's why he's no longer Ring champ.

Every one here is underestimating Stevenson's intelligence. The man is definitely one of the smartest fighters out there. He is an absolute genius....

I think it would be okay.

I don't care where it's televised, as long as it happens.

HBO doesn't own Kovalev, he should be free to fight on any network he wants.
