You see what's happening here fellas, that's exactly what HBO wanted, nobody is talking about the fight tomorrow, the thread for the weigh in is almost empty, whereas the threads for the IV stories are packed with comments, Thomas Hauser works for HBO btw, makes perfect sense to publish what he published 2 days before the fight, even though Pacquiao and his team already knew about this in May, he could've published this waaaay earlier than that.

Did HBO pick Berto as Floyd's opponent?

Nobody cared about this fight before the Hauser article.

People are probaly more aware of this fight now after the IV gate.

That's strange. The Floydboys were just saying this IV/USADA fiasco was just a promotional stunt. Because after finding out Floyd is likely a fraud everyone will surely want to buy the Berto fight!

Please dude, he had the injections to dilute the roids in his system.

See how when Stiverne was dehydrated, he went to the hospital? Floyd was chilling at home getting two bags of saline trying to conceal his IV usage. Notice the difference there?

Why on earth would Berto come in 2 lbs below the weight limit? He's going to need to utilize his only advantage to make tomorrow even moderately competitive.

                    so the big question is?

Why do you need 750 ml of IV Floyd? IS it dehydration or PEDs? You only get to choose one.

Everybody was "aware"of the fight, people however weren't willing to pay for it which is totally understandable, but the weigh in is for free, and people are not even commenting on the weigh in, even though u got 4 championship fights, HBO again want to paint that "bad guy" picture, don't buy his PPV, remember the fight game, this program that Jim Lampley hosted that dedicated to bashing Floyd Mayweather?
This is not the first time somebody brings up something right before the fight to get publicity and to hurt the PPV numbers.

I don't think an alleged "scandal" like this will help the PPV numbers by any means, who's gonna pay to see a "cheater"?
