Ward is the best fighter/commentator in the sport today. Unfortunately he sits at the commentator table more than he gets in the ring. As for being the best fighter, well we don't even know what division he is fighting at these days. He fought at a LHW catchweight in his last fight and has no other fight on the horizon any time soon at any weight. He was stripped of his RING title, so he is no longer the lineal champion of anything and he will soon be stripped of his remaining title if he does not defend it soon.

Ward is nothing but an after thought in the boxing game. He is an example of wasted talent and I have no idea why anyone considers him a factor in any weight class today.
