Like most on this site your a little off. USADA was on the hunt for Armstrong since 1999 when his urine tested positive for a band substance. Armstrong's team provided a doctors note of sorts to clear him. That same sample was re-tested in 2005 and found existence of other band substances but the tests were completed with out following proper protocol, so Armstrong was in the clear again. The people who were willing to testify did finally brake Armstrong and is definitely why he caved, but USADA knew and were trying to get him. Blood Doping and HGH are among the most difficult if not the most difficult forms of PED use to find; add the fact that his doctors were in on it, yes it's absolutely impressive that USADA eventually caught him.

Lance failed a few tests but his Doctors were in on it. He used a number of ways to beat the tests, aided by Doctors, which included blood transfusions and a host of other tricks, not just a saline flush, because you cannot fully flush your system you can only reduce. If you read up on all the things Lance was doing, you will see that a simple saline/vitamin drip does not mask PED use.Comment

Everyone Pac fights is thought to be on substances. No wonder Pac has wear and tear, i bet even khan feels sorry for him, khan wanting brook to have more wear and tear before fighting Brook.
What will happen now.....will the fight between Pac and Floyd be deemed void, and Floyd pays compensation left right and centre, to fans and pac and whoever?
There will have to be a rematch but only on the condition Floyd can prove himself clean for the rematch.Comment

Mayweather dehydrates to make weight, less than others but still dehydrates. He told USADA before having the IV so it wasn't on the sly.Comment

No it won't. NSAC have said they have no problem with Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is alleged to have used a prohibited IV ahead of his showdown with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.
Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) executive director Bob Bennett has "no problem" with Floyd Mayweather Jr over allegations the legendary boxer used a banned IV following his weigh-in for his fight against Manny Pacquiao in May.
SB Nation reported that members of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) made an unannounced visit to Mayweather's Las Vegas home the afternoon before the fight and found evidence that the undefeated world champion had used a prohibited IV to prevent dehydration.
Two mixes were reportedly found at Mayweather's home, one of saline and vitamin C and the other of saline and multivitamins. According to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the mixes are not illegal, but administering them by an IV is.
It was said to be not until 18 days after the fight that USADA granted Mayweather a retroactive the****utic use exemption (TUE) to receive IV injections.
However, USADA reportedly did not tell NSAC - who were responsible for jurisdiction of the WBO welterweight title fight - of that decision, so the exemption was not in place when Mayweather and Pacquiao locked horns.
Bennett reacted to the report by stressing that he has no issue with Mayweather, who won on points in Las Vegas, but hit out at USADA.
"Floyd has always been a proponent of drug testing, which I applaud. He's set a fine example for all to emulate," he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
"He's never tested positive in his entire career for any performance-enhancing drugs and, as a commission, we have no problem with Floyd Mayweather.
"As far as USADA, I was extremely disappointed that I wasn't notified right away (about Mayweather receiving an IV). When it comes to TUE, we are the sole agency that approves the administering of TUEs. USADA, nor any other anti-doping agency that does drug testing, doesn't have the authority to adminster a TUE.
"The bottom line is USADA didn't keep us informed, which is totally unacceptable and unprofessional."Comment
