This is why Haymon is so adamant about his fighters NOT using VADA who has caught several of his fighters in the past. They administer CIR testing unlike USADA. For half the price nonetheless.

Now WHY would ANYONE want to pay DOUBLE the price for testing that isnt as effective?

Anyone remember when he threatened to cancel the Broner/Malignaggi fight once Paulie asked that VADA handle the testing?

Because fights being cancelled from a failed drug test are disastrous. Fans have purchased tickets and booked airfare months in advance for these events. This isn't the NFL where you have a backup running back that can fill in for the team. Without a fighter, the show does not go on.

There is no solution for this. The only scenario is that if everybody agrees to year around Olympic style testing but that is costly.

I just looked up testosterone levels by race, never knew there was a difference. What the *** is up with Asians?

I would think the less expensive option would be the choice as well. Then I realized VADA was started by Margaret Goodman, who is a partner with and endorsed by HBO, an entity that banned Haymon fighters from appearing on their network and is now is in direct competition with Haymon.

I also notice that a number of promoters and managers have stopped using VADA testing or do never used it as well.

My guess-VADA messes with the money so they had to be neutralized.

In this case you sue the fighter for lost revenue and cancel the fight.

Deevel916 do you think it makes sense to sue a fighter for all the revenue lost if a fight is cancelled?

There's an even larger difference in estrogen levels between races ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17456570 ) too so just taking a snapshot of testosterone levels doesn't really tell the whole story since the chemicals work with and against each other. Everyone has a delicate balance that governs particular behaviors and tempers.

Not OK to talk about in America of course where we still can't discuss biological science without someone getting angry. Maybe 100 years from now.

So what if it's two PBC fighters or 2 Top Rank fighters? You sue your own fighter while millions of fans sue you?

Or even in a co-promotion like this one? Either way your money is ****ed up.

If the fight is canceled as a result of a dirty drug test then yes. Sue him/his promotional company.
