Didn't the USADA grant Frank Mir (a UFC fighter) a TUE too. The NSAC apparently rejected that one, but they didn't reject the Mayweather one so seems like the NSAC could be bending for Mayweather too.

Sounds like the USADA & the NSAC need to get on the same page cuz clearly this process has not been streamlined very well if only the NSAC can grant TUE, but cats keep submitted TUE's to the USADA & somehow the NSAC isn't getting the word in a timely fashion.

My problem is..... I find it hard to believe that USADA's protocols are not very well streamlined, as they are extremely well-established.

I'm not sure NSAC had a chance to do anything. They received notice after the fight, so would it have mattered?

Look, this is shady no matter how you look at it. USADA violated state protocol and even worse, their own. Mayweather taking that solution sounded shady when they first announced test results. Does that make him guilty? No. But we're all allowed an opinion based on the above facts. So what does it all mean? After Saturday night, probably not much except here, where we'll debate it forever.

Not sure maybe USADA would bend their rules, but I do not believe that USADA would knowingly allow an athlete to dope.

And I find it even more difficult to believe that the random blood testing that took place wouldnt pick up any problems.

Well hopefully they'll answer that. USADA and NSAC are not on the same page. Who is final authority, really? And it wouldn't surprise me at all if another fighter is gaming the system. But proving that right now, like with Pacquiao a few years ago, is highly unlikely.
