Somebody else said you can't fight for the 160lb title at 154, which is incorrect.

I hope he's true to his words. Another unification fight is good. Then one more with Cotto/Canelo then hopefully Ward in late 2016 early 2017.

You cannot fight for a mw title if the maximum weight limit is 154.

            154 is JMW.

The max weight was 157 in that fight.

            Still bullshht, but yea.

Go ahead, idiots. Run down the list of who Lee has lost to and cry about GGG fighting him lol

                TBE doe.
Okay let's get one thing straight here.

First, Duran let's say started at 135 (I know he actually started lower but it was for such a short period of time and against unimportant oppostion let's just say 135). From 135 to 160 in 2015 is 5 weight classes, 25lbs. So Duran fought Hagler at 25lbs above where he started, and lost.

De La Hoya from super featherweight, fought twice at 160 vs Hopkins and Sturm, where he was very out of shape and lost arguably twice. Albeit DLH was much larger than Mayweather Jr. and could pull that off.

Mayweather won all 3 of his fights at 154, his 5th weight class/24lbs above his debut against #3 ranked JMW(DLH), #1 ranked JMW(Cotto) and Ring champ JMW(Canelo).

So cut the crap about Mayweather vs Golovkin and trying to put his career down. Berto is a ****ty opponent that is not worth paying $75 for but that's as far as you could go. Don't act like Duran or DLH didn't ever fight any **** opponents, or like a 38 year old pro fighter can't take a breather after fighting Maidana twice and Pacquiao.

Canelo and GGG are the same size on fight night. Canelo is a MW who drains for a weight advantage

                      But doesn't he mean head-to-head ?

Not, how highly they are regarded in their respective divisions ?

Dont get me wrong, I think that Lee is a good opponent for Golovkin.

Not a world-beater, and Golovkin wont make the hof off his name..... but Lee is a good opponent considering the current state of the MW division.

But, what top SMW's would Lee beat ?
