Like you said it's a 50/50 fight. Unlike other Kovalev fans, I don't think Ward is scared at all. Idk people think he is, they're going to look bad when the fight does happen.
I'm rooting for Kovalev not because he's Euro, some people want to make every situation about race, but because I'm a fan and I really don't like fighters that use dirty tactics (at least more than usual). I can't stand that type of fighting. Maybe you need to make it a little rough at times, but when you're constantly doing it.
If Adonis beats Sergey, I won't be mad at all because I actually like Stevenson's style. I don't care what anyone else says. I also don't care what he did in his past, nobody is perfect.
I'll be rooting for Artur when he faces Sergey as well.

As for the bold, I see more Ward fans saying nobody at 175 below could beat him or even touch him. It does go both ways though. Fans get to over excited and get butthurt when somebody criticizes they're favorite fighters.
Lmao at that red K'd thing . What is that anyway , and what does it do ? I swear I need a tutorial . I get red K'd from time to time but never issued any out . As far as all these fans claiming someone is scared of someone , that does get out of hand on here as its usually directed towards mostly all of the black fighters (with exception to GGG who many believe is scared of ward) . Flyod is scared of everyone , Ward is scared of Kov , Stevenson is scared of Kov , Rigo is scared of Loma , Wilder is scared of Povetkin, it's just really out of hand at this point . Whenever a Black vs Euro fight is stonewalled due to the Euro side it's because of business politics (Duva purse bid bailout) . But whenever a black vs euro fight is stonewalled due to the black side , it's because of the cowardice of the Black fighter . As far as these butt hurt fans , your right , they're the worst !

That's what I was trying to figure out as well , lmao !
Ward cleaned that can up in typical can fashion , and got the stoppage , so where's the issue ? I could be wrong but viewing Weebler I responses (or lack thereof) over time has led me to believe he's a type-A, paternalistic Brit who thinks he's beyond reproach and above response .

I wouldn't bet against Ward but wide desicion? Nah.. If it last the full 12 rounds I can see Ward getting a narrow desicion but a late stoppage win for Kovalev is just as likely.

Please. And I bet you called that B hop would box rings around Kov. Kov blows Ward out second half of the fight

I know Ward fans like to think he completely shut-out Froch, but Froch was coming on strong in the second half. Sakio Bika had success as well in an extremely dirty fight and landed like 200 punches on Ward.
Edwin Rodriguez was holding his own, until the referee threaten to DQ him.

Ward getting rocked by a nonpuncher at around 6:40 mark.

Ward is not going to try to box like his fans think. There is no way Ward fights from the outside, he's going to want to hold and smother Kovalev. Kovalev is going to have to man-handle him when ever Ward gets close. Also, make sure it's not the same referee from the Edwin fight, because he'll threaten to DQ Kovalev while allowing Ward to continue with his dirty crap.
Wow never seen this video before. "Ward is invincible doe, Kovalev wont land doe"

He says Ward is great at shutting down opponents and keeping them from doing their thing... and cites Abraham and Froch as examples... 2 fighters who are/were notorious for having trouble with slick boxers. He also says you have to be slick and slippery to beat Kov. So what is BHop if not slick and slippery? Granted, he's an old fighter, but still... Kov flat out shut him down easily. Jackson dialed up the right fight plan and Kov stuck with it to the letter. And he would do the same vs Ward. Kov has the whole package. Sure he can be hit, but so can Ward. Anyone remember the flush punch Froch landed toward the last rounds? If that would've been Kov, Ward's lights would've went out. End of story. This will be a great fight that will go Ward's way for just a little bit here and there. Kov will know what Jackson has taught him, and will follow instructions at near perfection. He will give Ward his first stoppage loss, late rounds.
Nah, you casual fans - as usual - will back the puncher over the quality fighter..... and then you will make excuses..... rinse/wash/repeat.

Ward/Golovkin is Mayweather/Pacquiao all over again.

Ward/Kovalev is similar, not exactly, but still pretty close.

                    Kovalev would kill Ward...
... Unfortunately, Ward will not fight him, doe...

He doesn't need to dart, charge or, exhibit any exaggerated movements because he's always in the right place at the right time. If he can keep that up at 175, Kovalev will get tired of missing (something he's not used to), his workrate will slow, and Ward will stack up the points all night.

People act if Kovalev's power is the deciding factor which is entirely wrong. Nobody lands clean on Ward. You have to be able to bully and out work him. This will look like the Froch fight with Kovalev looking frustrated and unable to come up with an answer.
Thats pretty much how I see it.

Power will not be an issue in that fight.

Kovalev will need to be a better fighter than Ward, if he is to beat him.

And I wish him the very best of luck with that.
