McDonnell vs. Kameda- ex. of how commentary can influence the audience

Paulie and Hunter, who are usually great at their job, did this fight disservice. It was a good fight but they paid all their attention to Kameda, who was getting hit with jabs the entire fight, had no answer for the jab, who was getting pushed back the entire fight and who got out worked by McDonnell.

Because of their commentary we're hearing how Kameda got robbed?

Meanwhile I switched back to the PBS commentary and these guys had McDonnell comfortably ahead I think they had it like 116-111 for McDonnell. So clearly they were watching the same fight the judges were watching and Paulie and Hunter were watching something totally different.

For the record I had a similar score to one of the judges 115-112. It was tough to score because Paulie and Hunter tried to convince me that Kameda won rounds that he didn't deserve. I thought the fight was closer than the other two had it, but the right man won the fight.

Ask yourself, did the commentary influence you?

No it just shows people can't score fights. Kameda was hitting McDonnell in the arms with his fast combos and grabbing hold the for the whole fight. McDonnell was hitting Kameda clean.

Just butthurt Kameda fans finding out he's not that good against class fighters.

      I had McDonnell winning a close(ish) fight.

The American commentary on SkySports had McDonnell wining wide. I heard that Paulie and Hunter had it wide for Kameda.

I seen it as a close fight, with the right guy getting the nod from the judges.

I completely AGree!! I also wondered why they kept showing kamedas highlights and showed nothing of mcdonalds. And Pauli basically never acknowledged when Jamie landed. Jamie won a close fight

Paulie has become punchy and it's manifesting itself in delusion. Like a little chihuahua that won't stop barking, Paulie gets on an idea and won't let it go, no matter how the fight draws out.

It was a pretty easy fight to score.

Kameda win some rounds, sure, but he lost the fight clearly. McDonnell was doing the more effective work, was dictating the action and pace and for me won it comfortably 116-112.

Paulie and Hunter's scoring credentials need to be questioned if they had Kameda winning wide. Just not possible.

Those scores were a disgrace. I can't believe what I'm seeing here. No way in hell did McDonnell win that wide.

Kameda's successes were too intermittent against McDonnell's steady pressure and workrate to give him anything other than a loss.

Only if you don't know **** about boxing it does.

While I thought Kameda won I also kept posting "He Is Not Doing Enough To Take It From The Champ" also posted that I did not like how Kameda was finishing that fight and then he got knocked down in the 12th.

Might be time to look into a new Trainer, someone that knows what to do with his Natural Talent and Skills. Thought he looked better in the first half of the first fight than he did this fight. Once again he looked sharp early but then McDonnell relentless pressure got to him an he started landing more and more

Not going to scream "ROBBERY" For Kameda here, you have to Take It From The Champion and I don't think he did that especially with him getting dropped in the 12 which was no question a Knockdown but CBS was trying to butter it up and talk about how he was off balance

I think fans just don't understand what they're watch and how to score a boxing match. It is not about "WHO YOU LIKE" if you can't be Partial then you have no business trying to score a fight
