Fury is selling a fight right now. When people have an interest in the fight they will try to see the fight...Fury has a large family, an immediate family, etc. Vlad does not have to sell the fight. Vlad has always served himself well with the negotiating branch of his promotional company.

People are hard on this guy: Haye really fvked him up. He was depressed and had no funds because David Haye backed out. Try getting up for a fight and then having it cancelled on you...twice. So of course he is selling this fight, of course he is saying outrageous things....do we see Vlad selling this fight? Vlad can sit back as Fury markets this fight, he can fight at home with his judges, he can make demands like a rematch clause, etc...and put it on Fury to generate interest.

Fury has shown himself to be a good guy. He takes care of his people, including his family, speaks quite candidly when asked, when not promoting a fight. Fury welcomes other **********, including a large ****** contingency into his family to help train him treating them like brothers and sisters.

This guy would be a great champion! His actions speak louder than his words... i would support him just on his inclusive camp alone frankly.

is he ready? well theres an old martial arts proverb that goes something like this..."In a fight, the man who has a righteous cause has the strength of two men." I would not villify Klitscko here, the guy is well educated, supports his people in a very unstable part of the world, but I do think Vlad is self serving financially regarding his pick of opponents. I percieve Fury as having the weight of many on his shoulders, this man is a kind of robin hood, he is percieved as being part of a group not accepted by the mainstream.

my point is that while Fury says many things to sell this fight, it isnt hard to recognize that he is a decent fellow.

It's going to be bad, Fury is going to be humiliated in the ring.

For the life of me I can't see that happening.

Don't remember the last top fighter that Wlad humiliated and I definitely can't see it being Fury.

Fury might get knocked out, but it will be a fight as long as it lasts.

I don't think Tyson will retire after, either. He always says that before fights, but I don't think that's a good thing. It's sort of setting yourself up every time, but now the level of opposition isn't a Hammer or broke down Chisora.

Manny is legend and I miss the guy, but remember he said ******man would dominate LHW... and we see that hasn't happened and won't. But then I don't know Manny's opinion of Kov. IOW, I think Fury is a live dog in this fight, but we won't really know til he faces the adversity Wlad will put him up against.

I have said that I believe that he has the possible tools to win, but if his head isn't right when those bright lights are on in the ring then its could be a rough night for him October 24. Wlad on the other hand is cool and calm. He has been on top for 10 years and is used to that environment, its just another day at the office. I hope Fury's head is right come fight night.
Yeah I want a 100% Fury vs a 100% Wlad. Only way we'll really see what current top level at HW is like. But really, even though I shouldn't allow myself to do it, I can't help thinking the 2015 Povetkin is too much for either guy.

                --------------------------------------------------------------------

Bottom line: We have a fight. Between Cotto/Canelo, Wlad/Fury and some others, boxing is belly belly good this year.
