Through everything Oscar was messing up big time. Who knows what really went on besides Oscar and Schaefer. I always thought it was because Oscar wanted to work with Arum.

If that was the case then why have we not heard about this now a year later from Schaefer? Arum was a smoke screen from day one. If you think their relationship broke up because Oscar took a lunch with arum you are very naive. They broke up because the contracts with the fighters in his own company were funny or becoming non existent and Schaefer had no legit excuse for it when Oscar found out and came questioning. Schaefer started making moves that benefited Haymon and not the owner of the company he worked for. That's why he sued him. The moves Schaefer was making to steal the company occurred months if not a year before Oscar started talking to Arum again.

It's nothing new in business. When the owner is away the person whom you trusted it with begin to act like it's his own. Happens all the time. Just watch that Spike show "Bar Rescue."

Schaefer is a snake and took advantage of a drug addict, probably the same way most people would have done in that position, oscar ran a multimillion company from way far, flying high in the sky, basically he got what he deserved and hopefully he learned from it.

He was someone Oscar thought was a friend that's the only reason he hired him and so I can understand you taking your guard down when you think you have family/friends running your business for you. Show business is littered with examples of family screwing people over with their finances or businesses. Oscar addictions had him blind and the snake took advantage. When you got a business with millions of dollars at stake you need both eyes on the wheel even if you got family and friends running it. Richard fat face Schaefer wanted to be the face of Golden Boy Promotions and wanted to be Oscar. Schaefer was a glory hound who resented Oscar's popularity and tried to ruin GBP and Oscar while Oscar was sick. Schaefer is a low down gutter sewer rat infecting boxing. Fat Faced Greasy unbathed Richard Schaefer was always in the center ring looking for the spotlight. Worms like Schaefer need to be eliminated from boxing thusly Oscar fired the backstabbing crooked Schaefer from GBP. Since then Hopkins has made it clear where his allegiance is and has done a complete 180 to support Oscar. But when you have major people in the company and multi owners including the main owner not knowing what the ceo is doing or the status of the fighters contracts that just proves what a crook and snake Schaefer was. When he finally started being questioned he couldn't give anyone a straight answer about the fighter contracts.
