De La Hoya has overcome it all! Completely bogus decision "losses" to my favorite fighter of all time Felix Trinidad and that woman beating gutless yellow turd Fraud MayBeatHer. Drugs, Blob ArScum, and now a malicious backstabbing by the puppet of the new Don King Foul Hymen. Oscar is a true Champion!

Schaefer keeps taking the high road. I'm sure part of him wants to remind Oscar that while he was doing all the work, Oscar was busy doing lines, getting anally ****d and dressing up like a playgirl. Not to mention all the rehab stints.

Wonder if Oscar rehashing this episode & bringing forth more of the details is a sign we will be seeing Richard pop up soon? I don't think there is any excusing what Richard did while Oscar was dealing with his drug problem. Certainly if you get your car stolen after you hand your keys to a random guy instead of the valet you deserve some of the blame for it getting stolen, but the guy who stole it still deserves the bulk of the ****ty person talk.
That said I feel like PBC needs a guy like Richard & it actually seems like they've made much better decisions only recently then they've been making for the previous 5 or so months so I wouldn't be surprised if Richard is working for PBC now tbqh.

Schaefer is a dirty rat, the guy is about as crooked as they come. He swindles ODLH to get Hymen boxers and then takes his payoff on the road. ODLH is going to win in the end though. Although he doesn't have the stable that PBC does, the quality of his cards are much, much better.

Do we remember what B-Hop said last summer?
June 3, 2014:
"A guy like Richard, and let me say that we don't always agree on everything, really can't be replaced. I'll reiterate: Richard Schaefer cannot be replaced. Things will continue to be run (at GBP), but they won't, can't, be the same. Richard is a man who is stern when he needs to be stern, and fair when he needs to be fair. It's hard to find people like that in boxing. He's one of the biggest and most respected players there is. Even the people who don't care for him too much on a personal level have got to respect him when it comes to the way he does his job," Hopkins stated in an interview with Bernard Fernandez of thesweetscienc.com.
"Think about it. Who really ran Golden Boy? I'm not talking about popping up in the office once or twice a year. Who was there, doing the deals, on a day-to-day basis," he continued. ""Oscar's been talking to certain people [Bob Arum]. He's been tweeting. He showed up at Canelo's (Alvarez) camp. OK, he's rededicated, he's gotten himself together, he's burying the hatchet (with Arum). Great. But with him doing all that, is anybody really surprised that this thing with Richard happened? The only thing that's a shock is that it took this long to go down..."
"I don't have a contract with Al Haymon, but I wouldn't mind having one because he knows the business and he knows how to make the moves to get you where you need to be."

Schaefer is a snake and a dirt bag. Oscar has been very clear and consistent on what happened. Schaefer either doesn't talk about or his story changes that's how you can tell who is lying and who tried to screw who over. Schaefer was plotting with Haymon to steal the company when Oscar was at his lowest and not aware of what was going on. So much shady stuff with his fighters steering them to not resign and hold only contracts with Haymon or signing but putting out clause that if Schaefer left the contract is void. Clearly he was not making moves that were in his companys best interest. Luckily Oscar found out before it was too late held on to Canelo and sued forced a huge settlement payment. If Oscar found out later the rat could of done more damage.
Remember Schaefer had no experience in boxing and became the ceo of Oscars company because he was a family friend and Oscar trusted him. That was his only qualifications to run a boxing promotion. But he tried to stab him in the back that's why you don't trust a banker. No loyalty to the man who brought you into the game. Special place in hell for people like Schaefer.Last edited by bigdunny1; 09-06-2015, 09:03 AM.

I think it's hilarious that Oscar had his fighters taken from him. I mean imagine a successful businessman waking up one day and realizing one of his agents has taken all of his business across the road.
Oscar is a horrible businessman and an even worse person. I hope Postol, Golovkin, and Cotto beat the **** out of Matthysse, Lemieux, and Canelo so Oscar will be left with nothing.

Schaefer is a snake and took advantage of a drug addict, probably the same way most people would have done in that position, oscar ran a multimillion company from way far, flying high in the sky, basically he got what he deserved and hopefully he learned from it.
