yea but the fact is u can put a number by any name u want to a number by these days..and on top of that MW is a horrible division and it really has been for the last 30 years or so...yes u have 1 or 2 dominant guys but the rest are always crap..ww's have to come up to make the division hot

rubio was top 10..so top 10 that he didnt even make weight..no thanks bro..
willie monroe is an actual R&b singer...no thanks bru
Stiverne is a better opponent than anyone at MW..also im more interested in sitvernes next fight than i am at mw and i'm sure you are too...
lets keep it real here, not wat they tell us to keep it

that is not true..he had 1 million ppl watching him..now can he fill out a staduim? not sure...but if pushed right and if he scalps the right ppl he might be bigger bc his record is better than GGG and ppl see him as more accomplished..
if he met rigo at 118 that could be his crowning moment or his career shortening day..i'd love that fight

oan i do think that if wilder was GGG's color he'd be on the P4P list the exact way...
I wouldn't dare put GGG in the same category as Wilder, GGG is willing to fight, but lack competition in his weight class. Wilder is a circus act that managed to get a belt by default.

It'll be interesting to watch what happens with GGG with this next fight & the one after & the PPV numbers. I've been very critical of GGG's chances of becoming a PPV star, but I've noticed GGG's name getting mentioned by more & more non-boxing fans or casual boxing fans lately & I think he has some adorable yet dangerous appeal for many similar to Pacquiao who also seemed an unlikely PPV star at one time.

I think there is still gonna be problems making him a viable PPV with a lack of PPV level opponents but maybe if the right path comes along (Lemieux, Canelo, Ward, that TR promoted undefeated Mexican cat who's name I keep forgetting would be a nice next 4 fights if it could be pulled off) he can get some momentum going on that can propel him high enough to lift off where only PPV fights would make sense for him in a boxing PPV world lacking Manny & Floyd.

wilder is not willing to fight? he fought 4 times a year if not more....he earned his belt by beating a viable stiverne..if stiverne doesnt run into wilder he's still a champ today..who is wilder ducking shannon briggs?? povetkin is going to get his shot wilder is building his start just like ggg did with rubio..and i dont think ggg is so willing to fight unless he knows he can win so i cant agree with you here....imo neither should be on the p4p list..

he has to win this fight to continue being a star..and now that they are putitng ggg on ppv i highly doubt that ward is going up in weight and missing that shot..GGG is getting heavier and heavier at 30 day weight in and rehydration..only reason he is still at 160 is for the 2 names he might get...his name is zurdo btw and he showed a few outboxing skill in his last fight when he had a reach advan on derick edwards i believe

Your right about GGG, he is willing to fight Canelo and Cotto, but is hesitant to fight Ward because of the fear of losing. Wilder though had one test in his whole career and that's Stiverne.

And no, neither of them should see P4P list.

i agree it is getting absurd, but i've come to live with that promoters promote to fan boys and casuals...we the hardcore fans are going to watch any damn thing..they dont have to sway us...

i'm not a canelo fan, but he had stones and told oscar give me lara..i'm waiting on the day that GGG's nuts drop and he request a ward..or even a lara, degale..anyone..a 50/50 fight from him would mean a ton

I'd be very surprised if a lil guy can consistently pull big audiences as the headliner or sell PPV's on the reg. Seem to recall Michael Carbajal & Humberto Gonzales having some success back in the day, but I don't think they maintained it for very long. Biggest issue at those weights is always gonna be a lack of quality of opponents that have also been built up to have your lil guy version of Oscar vs Chavez, Oscar vs Tito, Oscar vs Floyd & Oscar vs Manny moments.
