His greed is boundless, his humility non existent and his reign thankfully diminishing.
His skills are almost as sublime as his creation of a ruthless, riskless opportunist.

To be honest, things worked out the way they should have. Arum may have short changed him but the results show that he is better at building stars.

I hate this logic. You didn't have all these mediums to make a star back then PERIOD. Haymon accomplished what he did for Floyd to suit his long term gameplan. "Look what I did for Floyd...come sign with me and maybe i'll do the same for you". Hell Haymon has never built a star period. It was perfect timing, Oscar cashing out and boxing needed a star, Haymon needed a trophy, and Floyd wanted money. Worked out for the two of them but let's not act like Arum had nothing to do with it. Arum built both Oscar and Floyd, and it was the fight with Oscar that propelled Floyd. The ppv numbers from that fight is what started everything that came. That all had Arum's hands all over it...it was also the last paycheck Arum saw off Floyd (Yeah I know he wasn't signed to Arum anymore but he paid his buyout with the money he made from that fight as well as paid back the money Arum paid JPrince to go away). Floyd has accomplished a ton in his career but everyone he worked with paid a part in it, some more than others.

Cant help but agree..he would be undefeated but he wouldve had one of the weakest resemes out there..he wouldve never fought Corrales and turned down Castillo 2, from SFW up to JMW his reseme wouldve resembled his 140 credentials. Top Rank played a huge part in Floyds emergence. Ive never questioned TRs match making until recently. Crawford was coming along nice and hes fizzled out after Gamboa. I like TC but he needs to jet from TR to fulfill his potential. Same with every player TR has. Dont get me wrong TR is/was top notch in building stars but unless he doesnt own the souls of every fighter out there the big fights wont come. Bob can only get em so far until his greed takes over.

Funny to see your resident Top Rank and HBO nuthuggers claim that Bob Arum made Mayweather a star. No, the De La Hoya fight made Mayweather a star. Do you know who was preventing the De La Hoya fight for Mayweather? Bob Arum. Do you know why Mayweather wanted to leave Top Rank? Arum had no interest in making the De La Hoya fight.

Arum prevented Mayweather's stardom. Haymon delivered. Arum remains a racist crook. Haymon has redefined the game.

people don't like Haymon but the fighters are the ones taking all the risks...before Mayweather, Naseem Hamed and ODLH the only fighter making big bucks that was a non heavyweight was SRL

He has helped the fighters a lot more than he hurt the sport

Haymon's the real deal . He has exposed how much money is hidden from fighters by greedy networks and promoters for all these years . Now everyones mad because he's opened up the real books to boxers disclosing how much money a prize fight is really worth . Danny Garcia was 19-0 before signing with Haymon and had never made over $12,500 in any given fight , he then signed with Haymon and started making a millions per fight !
