Floyd would have just waited them out.

I didn't know SRR and Lamotta fought twice in 3 weeks. That's astonishing. Every one of their fights was a freaking war.

Jeez, they must have been 2 tough futhamuckers, especially Lamotta, the way he ate punches up.

Hearns was a bad night for everybody he fought, even those who beat him.

Hagler & Floyd never fought in the same weight class & Hagler never came down to fight Leonard, Duran, Hearns. They all moved up.

The one thing that gives Floyd the edge in all of these fights is his conditioning. Hearns, Duran, & Leonard all lived horrible lifestyles outside the ring. You can't drink, get fat, snort coke and be ready for Floyd in 8 weeks. Floyd isn't gonna stand there & trade, you'll have to find him. It'll be just like the De La Hoya fight, close early but Floyd pulls away late.

I think Hearns gives Floyd the most problems because of his reach & jab but i still see Floyd pulling away late. When these matchups are discussed conditioning is never considered. When these guys were Floyd's age (38) they were fighting LHW or retired. Floyd is still making 147 easily. More impressive than Floyd's 48-0 record is how scorecard record. He has only lost one scorecard his whole career, the SD against Oscar. That's due to his conditioning.

What weight division did Farhood fight in?

Writers and Historians decide... Stop. The only people who believe what the never haves believe is other never haves. FMJ is the best fighter of the day before weigh in era period. And why not judge fighters for their performance past their primes... it was a fight on record. FMJ has been past his prime for 6-7 years now.

Man i love these debates, so freaking pointless, but everyone has an opinion. One day they gonna clone all the greats and train them from birth with the same diets, then we will see.....

Its not a stretch to assume 2 WW and a MW, all 3 of whom are HOF'ers, would beat a SFW.

Like it's not a stretch to believe a SFW would beat a Flyweight
