I don't read him or any of the regular talking heads, they do not know anything relevant about the sport.

Cosell may have been obnoxious but...he was a man of principle, he stuck by Ali When the Dan's of the establishment were calling Ali a draft dodging communist. And Merchant has good things to say, he knows the sport.

If you think about it Bronner and Fat Dan Are part of the same program...neither are very good, know what they think they know and are brash to the point of arrogance....the deserve each other and I am proud to not know what either tweeted or said.

Dude is a troll, at best. He's no senior journalist. He's not witty, he's not crafty, he doesn't come off as intelligent. He's not sharp with the tongue. His humor has no comedic value and his insults are middle school-esque.

Someone should tweet this to him.

Fat Dan is one of the most disgusting looking humans who's got the most confidence. Its an imbalance of the natural order how he acts.

Having said that while I don't mind writers or commentators in boxing who talk to the fans & public at large not having a perfect record of acceptable behavior on twitter & social media its clearly unprofessional to engage in this behavior (& this isn't the first time he's done it by far) regardless of the fighter involved.

I think a guy like Steve Kim is far worse with some of his remarks & its no surprise he's not a guy who gets very deep in too many en******/teams in boxing due to the aura he has in the boxing community so this situation tends to work itself out. Talk too much **** about a guy & not surprisingly that guy won't be talking to you in the future & ultimately this job requires access so you just shoot yourself in the foot with this unprofessional **** as a writer.
