So much for "One Time" being a ratings draw
The only way you can call last weeks ratings a success is if you finally admit that the Thurman fight was a huge bomb. We grading on a curve because anything will look better compared to that disaster. Also PBC had no sports competition last weekend. I think the Thurman fight and Garcia fights had more head to head competition. I think UFC one night. Right now is the dead time in sports once NFL, College Football and then NBA and Hockey come back will be more competition for PBC.

I dropped Hbo and Sho because I get enough boxing on PBC. If there is a fight I really want to see (typically GGG) I'll grab Hbo for a month and then drop it again. Boxing fans are the most ridiculous group I've ever seen. No matter what happens 75% complain

I'd love to see your detailed balance sheet of PBC shows.

I think its super easy to suggest PBC is losing money like mad, but lets not forget Haymon was the mastermind behind Mayweather becoming Mayweather & in generating more revenue sources for Mayweather to take advantage of that led to him being the highest paid athlete in sports for several years running now. If you think Haymon is just lighting investors money on fire & happily bathing in his 10%-15% cut of fighter purses with a **** eating grin waiting for this all to come crashing down I'd tell you you are naive at best.

They have a long way to go to catch HBO but they have passed HBO's next competitor Showtime. PBC has basically put Showtime boxing out of business.
They should have a long way to go to catch HBO. HBO was showing fights back in the 70's ffs. They have a long storied history in the sport & a high level of quality PBC can only dream of having one day. But they've arguable gotten to the #2 spot in 6 months. Thats impressive.

Yeah it's not network though. Network telecasts have different standards but all in all good #'s for ESPN. Very good..

GGG is HBO's star and he did 1.3 vs Monroe. HBO boxing has been around for decades while pbc hasn't been around for a year yet. Anyone who does a million on HBO is huge.
