nba games average 2 million on espn...i'd say for a show that has only been around less than a year to be averagein over 1.2 million views is pretty awesome..Leo's face is new to espn..when fans catch on and say "thats a bad boy" there will be an even bigger audience imo...thanks pbc

espn is smart and al likely has a certain number he can get to where they are willing to portion out some of his spending on time slots...espn has to air sports or they die ppl..covering the same news over and over again will get old in the cable cutitng world..i have to admit i dont watch sportcenter anymore..its all about keeping the fan happy...u can grade everything u think but the truth is u will never know wat al bought..and neither will I even if it falters u wont know

the question is why are ppl begging that they fail when they are putting on 5 or more cards a month?

the audience will start to build the pbc is going to work. the matchups are going to continue to get better as well. ya you will always have a fighter or 2 not willing to fight the best but thats in every promotion but overall the pbc cards are getting way better. the other thing people are forgetting about is it will take time for people to learn the format. think about it how many on here automatically record every boxing match on hbo and showtime that all counts for ratings

well once the time buys are done some these networks are going to make contracts with pbc just like they do ufc. they are going to be more lucrative then people expect. thats when they are expecting to start getting their money back. people forget about that the entire idea is to make tv deals once the time buys are done and the audience has built up

how the hell do PPVs do 1.2 million buys yet a free TV on primetime with two pretty decently named fighters do only that???

you would think it would be closer to 3 million or 4mol

Anyone knows if this includes the ESPN deportes rating numbers ? Or just regular ESPN ? I'm pretty sure combined could be more than 2 million viewers.

thats just the average bud not the peak and they didnt fight till after 11 on east coast thats long past prime time. lol u guys get so mad whenever something good happens with pbc cracks me up. the bottom line is the numbers are growing they will continue to grow overall with a hitch here or there that means when it comes time to negotiate a deal pbc will get paid. its pretty simple. the peak will be closer to 2 million views im sure

Star power man. Imagine if Floyd/Pac was free TV... It'd be 30 or 40 million.
