Comparing (106 pounds) Floyd Mayweather at the age of 16 to professional 16 year old Pacquiao (105 pounds), seriously?

Pacquiao had to fill his pockets with weights--- he wasn't even 105 pounds first off.

Secondly, amateur boxing at 16 years old compared to professional boxing at 16 years old. The **** are you guys thinking comparing that? Pacquiao is a smaller stature fighter, the fact he came from Light Flyweight to Jr Middleweight is far more impressive than Mayweather's growth from Super featherweight to Jr Middleweight.

What division was Pacquiao in at 21? Super Bantamweight. That was his 3rd one as a professional

What division was Mayweather in at 21? Super Featherweight. That was his 1st one as a professional.

You cannot be seriously comparing the two and even think that Mayweather's move from Super Featherweight to JMW is even remotely as impressive as Pacquiao's.

Can you be objective in your analysis of anything? See I don't understand how people can be so fanatic about anyone that they blind themselves to the truth.

Do you think Floyd is the best ever?
Or PAC is the best ever?

They are not. I point out facts about both.

                  Try to follow this.

                  Floyd runs too much!
PAC can't cut the ring off!

Floyd avoids getting hit, defensive fighter!
PAC couldn't take Floyd out of his defensive game!

Two points of view to you maybe. But to me they are both true statements.

I enjoyed maidana 1, tony weeks let them battle. Bayless broke them too quickly like he did with PAC, but maidana still roughed Floyd up a bit the second time.

I think maidana was bigger, and rougher than manny gets.

The refs get too involved in some fights, not enough in others.

                    Which critics?

You mean the rabid nationalist Filipinos (you longtime boxing fans that happen to be Filipino are not who I'm talking about) that watched their first boxing match in 04'?

                    You mean those critics?

'Cause most critics I remember always picked you to win that fight and our only question was why you weren't making the fight happen when it had more historic significance?

Don't make more out of that fight than it ended up being.

I was having a little dig at the poster you replied to.

He (correctly) rubbished compubox..... but then in the very same post, used compubox stats to prop up his agenda.
