Yes, he made a good business decision. The fact still remains he had 3 chances to fight Floyd when prime, before he got KTFO by JMM and refused each time. Tells me he was never confident he could beat Floyd (bob surely wasn't) and that's why he waited to fight him.
You can try and justify it however you wish but it doesn't change a thing-he didn't fight Zahir, yuri or Floyd when he was prime when he had the chance to. Maybe he would've won had he taken those risks. But he didn't.
He may have had a better chance to beat Floyd if he had experience against long armed boxers, not just bigger come forward duds like clottey and marg.
His decision. Factor this in just like you do for every other time a fighter avoids an opponent he should face instead of blaming the guy Manny avoided.
- and going back to zahir and yuri hahahahahahahaha. again manny wanted to avenge his loss to morales which he did. and a prime 130 marquez is farrrrrr more dangerous and was at the top of the division than 135 zahir who became irrelevant soon after beating morales. also yuri isn't all that (wasn't a big name and was hardly a threat compared to margarito). i mean he got completely ko'ed and embarrassed by a bloated far past prime cotto while a shot one eyed margarito put on a better fight against cotto (2nd time), but keep hyping him. it's not like floyd avoided a prime cotto, prime pac, prime mosley, paul williams, kostya, martinez, khan, GGG, etc. etc.Last edited by Divine Hammer; 08-31-2015, 09:37 AM.

I disagree wholeheartedly. No matter how you slice it, these are the #1 and #2 fighters of this generation

and 2009 belonged to manny. manny was fighter of the year 2009, according to ring and bwaa. KO'ed hatton cold, and beat up cotto while fraud mayweather dragged up a lightweight up two weightclasses for the first time hahahahahahahahahaha.

Well you never fought him when he was a beast. Hid behind steroid accusations, went on vacation when they agreed to drug testing, blamed bob arum, waited for him to get knocked out, then got exposed when you did business with arum, went to manny hotel after talking trash for years praising him, using psychological tactics that work on the born again pacman like saying we both have families we don't have to hurt each other to give the fans a great show, and all I have is boxing you have losses and people still love you, etc.
one thing you gotta give Floyd credit for and his dumb fans think you are dissing him, but live in denial is he knows how to pick fighters and at the right time so he can't lose, he also loves to project. It's why he is never going to lose he was able to have so much power to pick and choose and manipulate so he can make the most money while brainwashing suckers to call him the best ever, classic con man, and he still couldn't whoop pacquiao impressively, i expected Floyd to outdo Marquez, all the Floyd fans said pac will be hit all night and it will be a gate situation.

If they were so easy to beat, Manny would've fought either. Instead, he avoided both. Then, when he finally fought Floyd, he was clueless because the only fighter he fought that boxed from the outside with a long reach he really fought was ALgieiri, a bum of the highest order.
If Manny made different choices he'd have fought Floyd in his prime, before the KO. Nothing you say changes this fact.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 08-31-2015, 10:14 AM.

Hehehe what a laugh Pacman was not on Floyds level of holding, hugging and running. Manny is a champion who prefers to stands and trade punches like a man and he doesn't hold, hug and run
