Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux Eyes November Return, as a Free Agent?

WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Ridgondeaux (15-0, 10KOs).

The two-time Olympic gold medal winner is looking to return to action on an undisclosed date in November. The Cuban boxer has been inactive since December 31, when he scored a knockout victory in Japan. He attributes his inactivity to a strained relationship between his manager, Gary Hyde, and his promoter, Caribe Promotions.

So now it's all Gary Hyde's fault?
Gonna be all Caribe's fault after the contract with Hyde is finished and he still can't get a big fight.
Rigo is running out of people to blame

Here is Loma refusing the hydration clause.
Before that he refused the catchweight.
Before that he admitted he wasn't ready.

All the while, refusing to fight Walters because he "gains too much weight". Lawl.

BoxingScene.com caught up with Egis Klimas to get an update on the status of a potential fight between two-time Olympic gold medalists Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigodeaux. Lomachenko is the WBO featherweight titleholder while Rigondeaux holds the WBO and WBA's super bantamweight belts. Rigondeaux's team accepted Klimas' (who manages Lomachenko) proposition for the historic showdown but with the condition that the fight take place at a catchweight of 124 pounds with a maximum rehydration clause of 134 pounds.

As you have mentioned Golovkin in this thread, maybe you can explain why you are not attacking Rigo as a duck and a coward, the way you do with GGG over Ward?
