i was pulling for my boy mares. i though santa cruz won the fight. leo was rangy and his arm length was the difference when things kind of settled a bit. great fight and no rematch just yet.

I had Mares winning by 2 rounds, it was a closer fight than the two judges had it and the several idiots on commentary who were just hyping LSC at every given turn.
Could have gone either way.

Jack Reiss is so used to refereeing Ward fights he just kept letting Mares wrestle LSC and hold him on the ropes it was getting annoying.

That was pissing me off too, Mares was holding so much he deserved to lose a point at least but he was rarely even warned and when he was warned the ref was saying "come on your both holding" it was ridiculous. Santa Cruz looked good though and dealt with it well, he definitely did what he had to do last night.

He will get credit for it from honest fans and he deserves it, the whiny ones that are always looking for something to cry about will cry like *****es trying to discredit the win but **** them anyway.
