Los Angeles, CA - In a battle of Southern California featherweights, Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz, (31-0-1, 17 KOs) defeated Abner Mares, (29-2-1, 15 KOs) by majority decision in a fight reminiscent of Mexican wars between boxing legends Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales on Saturday night. I think you won too, . I honestly didn't see where the Mexican butch lesbian threw 1,000+ punches. Every time Mares was in the range that benefited Santa Cruz that sissy was hesitant to throw anything so Mares would say "f**k it" and just bull rush him again.

the way abner started i thought he might have been on to something. using his better all around game. but then he tired and got overwhelmed in the 2nd half of the fight. he lost a clear decision and looked sloppy in the later rounds

I think once Santa cruz didn't buckle under the initial onslaught, mares tried boxing him from the outside and counter but Santa cruz's jab distrupted and controlled mares.. Mares had nowhere to go as he was getting hit on the inside and outside.. I don't think he gassed as he came on strong in the final rounds. He just didn't have an answer to Santa cruz's lanky jab and range

Mares will learn from this and fix it accordingly. Let's go Mares, let's get this rematch in order and take the trilogy home.

Not interesting enough for a rematch tbh

Whats mares going to do? Grow longer reach? Have proper 126 power?

Either way, Ill rather LSC fights the champs, though i have no hope of that
