Being emotionally invested in a fighter is interesting. But after manny got stopped & dropped by Marquez, at least two people in the Philippines had heart attacks seeing their idol get knocked out. It was shocking, in slow motion it looked like his spinal cord was gonna pop out of his back.
      Brutal!

Any way, this forum seems to have a lot of guys who get really bothered if someone has a different take on things. Leave it in the ring. After the fight is over it is over. That is part of the beauty of boxing, or it should be.

you already got destroyed in this thread, but i'll add this:

any floyd fan who actulally believes that floyd "schooled" pacquiao in that fight is at least as ****** and delusional as the "watch it in a slow motion" crew.

nobody got schooled in that fight.

floyd, the better boxer of the two, outlanded a post ktfo, past prime, gun shy version of manny pacquiao in the most anti climatic and boring "big" fight i've ever seen.

if that's what you call schooling then i don't know what to say, other than you don't know ***** about boxing.

and get rid of that rigo avatar.

i, a proud rigotard, don't want to be associated with such a predictible, ****suckin' mental midgets such as yourself.

Pitty pat running is for amateur boxing. I paid money to see real boxing or a fight and didn't get either. Dude and anything with his promotion will never get a penny from me. **** Mayweather.

If more fans did this, Floyd would be forced to do more.

Best post I have seen In regards to the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight, I couldn't agree more. History books will show that this was the biggest fight In boxing history that didn't live up to expectations, and rightfully so.

let's get something straight ... had pacquiao been awarded the decision.. guess what, this fight isnt boring no more. it becomes the most epic night in boxing history. . all these clowns who cry how boring it is would be rewinding it nonstop in excitement just to see manny win again. lets not get it confused. boring just means mayweather won. period.

and lets get another thing straight, had mayweather after a loss, cried about an injury ..guess what.. NOBODY would buy it and just call him a sore loser. . those are the facts, period.. haters carry on.

Truth is he has a pattern of avoiding prime threats and lets them lose burn out or become shot.

He picks average guys off of victories over overated or small figjters..

Floyd has a pattern he developed.
get it right.. pacquiao ducked random testing until he was broke with the IRS coming for him. thats when he agreed to fight. .dont rewrite history, this fight was done for march 13, 2010.. all the chump had to do was some punk a.ss blood tests.. he declined $100 million to face clottey for chump change. he's the one that ducked mayweather, not the other way around.

and judging from their previous two fights prior to May 2nd, floyd is the one that actually looked more shot and past his prime. maidana made him look old and beatable. against rios, bradley and algieri pacquiao looked like a super hero. so in fact floyd was the "shot" fighter in the ring on may 2nd.
