So Floyds biggest win was against a shattered past prime Pacquiao is what youa re saying
Lol. Exactly. You gotta give to floyd as a manager. Fought JMM bf he juiced and grew into welterwt, Knew Margarito and Williams would be tough, fought pac and mosely 4-5 yrs past their best. Even fought Canelo at a catchweight after all that smack against Manny for the same thing. He matched himself perfectly, bc he has fought and beaten all the best: Cotto, Mosely, de la Hoya, Pac, JMM, Hatton, Corrales and Castillo. But, those who know, know after moving to 140, he was vveeewwwy careful
Nice comeback Ellerbe! Guererro was (and probably still) just as good as Bradley, and Ortiz was definitely better than Rios. Go check JMM's record @ 147. He's still an ATG, but at 147, JMM is very average. Not matter how you slice it, Mayweather vs. Berto is still a **** fight, but the critics need to fall back a little. What other ATG was relevant @ age 38?
Gotta question anyone's boxing knowledge who thinks Guererro us as good as Bradley. I'm not even gonna bother referring to the fights of how bad Guererro has looked the past 2 yrs. Lol. Yup...
And there are club fighters not even ranked who are 3-3 in their last 6 so that's means they would qualify for Mayweather too then. Dumba$$ Elerbe doesn't realize it is who you fought in your 6 fights. And Pac wasn't 3-3 when he fought Mayweather and no one sees the Bradley fight as a loss which makes it more like 5-1 going into the Mayweather fight. No one will ever wrongfully accuse Elerbe of having any brains after that statement he made. If someone wrongfully accuses him of having any brains, they should be shot for ******ity. Or have their balls removed so they don't breed.

Haha I know right, I had to read that shxt twice. But na, he really said Ghost was as good as Bradley smh.
You can't compare Berto's losses to Pac's, or Cotto's for that matter (it seems that everyone missed that). But I don't think that was Elerbes point, I think he was just trying to say we as boxing fans need to stop diminishing fighter's achievements and to a certain extant the fighter themsleves based solely on losses. As we should know, based on the history of boxing, losses are not the best measuring stick for judging a boxer; triangle theories and such. Does that make Berto a better oponent? Nope. Does that justify the PPV price? Nope. I dont really have a problem with Mayweather fighting Berto, but I wont be purchasing this fight, thats for sure. Just from an historical point of view, Thommy Hearns last 5 fights featured opponents with records of 19-5, 19-6-2, and a late replacement whos record was 27-14, Hearns lost that fight due to an injured ankle. $30 ppv, pbc, or showtime broadcast would have been good for this fight.
