It's a ****** remark. First when Pacquiao fought Mayweather he had won 3 of his last 5 fights and almost everybody thought he beat Bradley in the first fight which means he deserved to win 4 of his last five fights. It wasn't until after Mayweather beat him that he dropped to losing 3 of his last 6 fights. Berto has already lost 3 of his last 6 fights and surely will drop to losing 4 of his last 7 fights after Mayweather beats him. Second is Pacquiao was ranked as the 2nd best welterweight right behind Mayweather while Berto is ranked 20th by boxrec who are the only guys that rank fighters that low. If Berto was a good opponent team Mayweather would not need a new statement every day trying to say what a good opponent Berto is. When your opponent is an 80 to 1 underdog it's a cherry pick plain and simple. Mayweather has fought lots of tough guys so if he wants to finish up with an easy fight that's his right but please don't try to say Berto is anything but a cherry pick.

Two reasons i'm dying for Floyd to retire is to see who among the folks here actually stick around when there is no replacement and secondly to see this fool Ellerbe sit down somewhere silently. Same goes for Pacquaio and Arum.
