Im sorry, was that an attempt at defending Mayweather's decision to fight Berto?

Nobody is claiming Pac vs Algieri was PPV worthy but at least Algieri was undefeated and had just beaten Provo who was hot at the time, Berto is just a straight up bum!!!!

Some of these comments--man there's not a thought process involved before the fingers hit the keyboard lol. Like a kid that just keeps touching the stove. Most people are looking at Khan--he had no excuse for his lackluster performance in his last fight. Algieri kept coming straight forward at him and looked horrible while doing and tagging him here and there. That was your showing for wanting to get Mayweather in his last fight? Berto will lose, but it will be way more swinging.

So Alfieri is a bum right....his best wins are Provo n Taylor

Berto beat former title holders quintana, collazo in his prime, Juan urango, Steve Forbes, zavech, Freddy Hernandez was 29-1 n berto blitzed him in one

                Are you kidding me

                Berto beats Alfieri today

He's still an ATG, but at 147, JMM is very average. Not matter how you slice it, Mayweather vs. Berto is still a **** fight, but the critics need to fall back a little. What other ATG was relevant @ age 38?
He averages less than 3 fights a year for his career. I would be more impressed if he was 38 and had at least 60 fights under his belt. Rocky Marciano was a heavyweight and he retired at 31 having fought 49 times.

Yet he fought what 5-7world class fighters?

Floyd has been over 2 dozen...Marciano's resume @ he isn't near the top so no need to compare

Rocky fought world class guys towards the end of his career

Floyd has been kicking world ranked ass since 1998 that's 17 years ago smh
