Lack of investment, no boxing gyms, no trainers, the sport not being popular

Its the same over in most parts of South Africa

Boxing is a closed sport. When you do get a non-white boxer having success, 9 times out of 10, he comes from a western part of the world or will be trained in the west.

There could be 100 potential Floyd Mayweathers in Sudan for all we know.

the indian actor amir khan is bigger than the boxer amir khan in pakistan.. hussein shah won a bronze medal for pakistan at the seoul olympics back in 1988 i think.. he slept in doorways and was homeless whilst he was in training... pakistans national sport isnt even cricket its actually field hockey.

i am from uk mate....

my point is the guy won a bronze medal, without any help or sponsorship money, he was homeless at one point and he trained in the local park, he done all that and he won a bronze, maybe could have gone further if he had the use of a pro coach and a boxing gym back in 1988.

know one gives a **** about boxing in pakistan, if they did, india and pakistan could produce contenders.
