Nunn was in every sense of the word a TRUE MONSTER in his PRIME and he was clearly beating Toney till Toney was able to turn it around late and score the KD beatdown that he needed.

All we have to ask ourselves is who is Mayweather's TRUE MONSTER?

Now Mayweather has alot of good to great wins but he never defeated a TRUE MONSTER like a Nunn. You can try to argue it was Pacquaio but IMO that will have to be the Pacquaio of 2009 after hatton-cotto that can compare to the Nunn we are talking about here so no Pacquaio doesnt qualify here for this IMO.

So in short the Answer IMO is YES. James Toney win over Micheal Nunn is Better than any of Floyd Mayweather's victories.

It would be comparable to Mayweather beating Margarito coming off the Cotto win.
It's comparable to Mayweather beating up the then undefeated Corrales, both Nunn and Corrales cleaned out their divisions and KOed the biggest names there, and they both had significant size advantages over Toney and Mayweather, Margarito already had 5 losses after his fight with Cotto including losses to Paul Williams and a stoppage loss to Daniel freaking Santos, and this was the only weight division he fought at.

Don't forget that right after the Cotto fight Margarito fought Mosley who was an underdog and got KTFO and punished, and then Mayweather fought Mosley coming off this huge win and beat him 11-1.

Don't judge a fighter by what he did after he fought Mayweather cuz at the time the fight got made nobody knew that, judge him based on his credentials GOING into the Mayweather fight, u had Diego Corrales, a true monster at the time at 6'1, was KOing everybody in his division with a record of 33-0 with 27 KOs, if u don't remember, Corrales was actually the number 1 130 pounder in the world at the time and Floyd was number 2, also Corrales was ranked #5 on the P4P list and Floyd was #7, so in a way he was a true monster, his career sure didn't go the way it was expected to go after the loss, but GOING into the fight the man was a beast! and that's what matters, cuz nobody can predict the future.

Was Nunn the second best boxer on the planet when Toney beat him?

He has a point though. Pacquiao may not have been at his peak (neither was Floyd) but he was regarded and ranked far more highly than Michael Nunn. So Pacquiao was the better win.

Childish insults also imply you're a wee bit upset.

In my opinion, Michael Nunn was a better win than any individual win of Mayweather's and I don't see it as close.

Doesn't matter if he was at his peak or not, he was still regarded as the second best boxer on the planet. Was Nunn? Simple question.
