Definitely. Cotto grasping at straws if he's really banking on the old Canelo. I'm sure both will get tagged plenty, both have defensive liabilities, but the old man is much easier to break down over the past few years. Canelo by mid/late rounds TKO.

I don' t care what anyone says. Cotto is a smart businessman and a warrior. He's the Puertorrican Mayweather. More exciting to watch of course.

LOL, Cotto Got Beat Up By Margarito, KOd By Pac; STFU Cotto

Cotto trying to get in the head of Canelo about a fight he had with his brother 5 years ago. Canelo was what, 19 years old? How did that fight end, Miguel? If he's naive to believe Canelo is the same guy, more power to you. Canelo is about to give Cotto a bloody, convincing beatdown that finds Cotto fighting the Tim Bradley's, Brandon Rios' of Boxing, when he gets taken apart. These story lines are just ****** to report. Maybe we should talk about Cotto getting mugged by Margarito, reminding him of the beating and KO he took from Manny. Come on, report TODAY; that's all that matters. Cotto is not as smart as he thinks he is. If that were the case, he wouldn't need Freddie Roach to turn his career around from near retirement.

You're right that a lot of them are biased but it's not just them. There are plenty of other people that worship their flags, color, location(east vs west coast, states, cities), and other reasons. If Cotto were to lose, you won't see most of them after. They always do that.

Who is a D class fighter himself, who beat Kirkland... do you see how this is going?

And I wasn't comparing Geale to Lara I was comparing Martinez to Lara. Martinez is better than Lara in every sense of the word. He would KO a guy like Delvin, in fact he did. His run of the Euro MW's showed this. Geale was comparing to Kirkland and Angulo. He is a B level fighter, the other two are D level fighters. This cannot be denied. If you want to make an argument because Lara is harder to hit as him being "better" fine, but to think Angulo and Kirkland are world class anything other than bums is simply absurd.
In no way, shape or form was that version is Martinez better than Lara. Seriously, stop it. Lara is a world class fighter, that version of Martinez had nothing and was coming into that fight off the back of a dreadful performance against Murray which he clearly lost and was put on his ass multiple times. Lara is an A level fighter, that version of Martinez wasn't even C class.

What makes Daniel Geale a B level fighter? Winning a world title against a faded Sturm? Geale was beat by Darren Barker who is C class at best, flattened in 2 by Golovkin, lost to Mundine - different style of fighter, but he's really no better than Angulo.
