I never liked DLH, I wasn't down with the whole fish net thing. But you have to be a sword swallower to not see some truth to this. DLH got at least 6 rounds. I'm not saying this is 100% accurate, it's just not a total lie.

That was a hell of a close fight which could have gone either way. I had it a draw but you can easily give it to De La Hoya. I was surprised Mayweather got away with the W to be fair. So there we have it, the man's been beaten what 3 times already?

To be honest, Whitaker made a far more compelling case for a win than Floyd did. Even though I still think Floyd won by the skin of his teeth.

One fact is for sure. Floyd retired so he didnt have to rematch DLH again. Their was a clause in the contract. Floyd avoided it!

We have different set of eyes my friend... Floyd fighting at 154 and 30 years old isn't near as quick with his feet and combos as he was younger at lower weights

Every athlete slows down @ 30....hard to see the decline cause of his skills n staying in shape year round

I'm 30 years old....I can do all I could do at 25 but its about sustaining it....athletes slow down at a certain age like we all do

Oscar was faster and harder hitting at 135 also...

So I dont really see your point about mayweather not being prime... because I dont know what that would make oscar.

Oscar did pretty well for a middle aged guy who'd lost 2 of his last 4 fights, over the previous 4 years. But he didn't win, he just didn't.
