The only trouble I have with Cotto is that he is often hit too easily. For example, his chin is not that hard to find and this could very well be his undoing against an accurate counter puncher like Canelo.

Miguel has to be very careful in not falling into any of Ginger's traps by trading and exchanging power punches with him because Alvarez has the faster hands and his defense is so underrated to the point that Cotto just may run into a few punches he might not see.

Doesn't seem to be much of a size difference aside from the jacket Canelo is wearing.

it is tough to tell with all the clothing they're wearing. i wish they were nude. no ****.


if you look at their necks, however, you can see that canelo is the markedly larger guy in terms of the heavyness of his build. when cotto was in his mid 20's he was a Jr WW.


they'll look like different sized guys when they're in the ring. canelo will probably be pushing 170 lbs.

cotto's got that sneakin puertorican timing, and may give canelo some issues, but i expect him to eventually eat some big shots and lose the fight.

Size difference is there. The height is close, but Canelo is probably about twice the back width of Cotto. His build is of a naturally larger man. Size wont decide the fight because Canelo isn't a pressure fighter, but to say the size difference doesn't exist is silly.
