    Yesterday, someone stated that Kovalev should easily have Steveson out-of-there by round 9/10..... seemingly completely forgetting that Stevenson will be hitting Kovalev for those 9/10 rounds.

    You are a brave man if you place a large bet on that fight.

      You already knew I was a fan of GGG and Kovalev, otherwise we wouldn't be having this coversation in the first place. You are wrong with the other 3 guys on that list though.

      Along with GGG and Kovalev, my 3 other top favourites right now are probably the best of the best of the Brits - Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Kel Brook.

      Like GGG and Kovalev, they are all unbeaten. So you can take your L's and shove them up your shitter. Once you stop talking out of it, of course.
      Aah ok sorry, I made an assumption, based on the fact that you are clearly not a boxing guy.

      Your recent L's.....

      * Golovkin ducking Ward
      * Kovalev ducking Stevenson
      * Brook fighting Gavin, leading toward a potential Mayweather payday

      Fury is good value and great for the sport, I hope that remains the case.

      Haven't seen much of Joshua, will take more note when he steps up.

        Also like I said they both are looking out for their own interest. I see your point on Stevenson being in a different situation but walking away from the purse bid did Kovalev no favors but with Kovalev, Duva should of called his bluff and taken the risk, as far as I know he had one fight left he takes that fight then free for Stevenson.... He may win he may lose but the reward for winning are so sweet.
        that's right, but GYM had purse bid moved forward, how does he take the purse bid when he still has another fight pending? has that ever been done before?

            Fight Tommy Karpency for $3m, have Beterbiev pull Kovalev's card and force Kovalev to vacate the IBF belt, have Fonfara/Cleverly-Braehmer winner chased down the WBA belt, and force Kovalev to accept a purse bid, as he's left currently with near no viable fights as is.

            Kovalev is supposed to be going to Russia, yet the only names viable to him are the Cuban dude and a 2nd Pascal fight (after Pascal was knocked out).

            Stevenson is just fine; as long as Kovalev is still the mandatory challenger (without actually wanting the fight), Stevenson can pick his way through the WBC's top 15 and keep the checks rolling. vs Rodriguez, Oouthuizen, Mikhalkin, and the Fonfara rematch are all waiting in the cue.

As for your comment starting with, "She had to have thought", proves my point that its all just speculation on your part. Because honestly you can't possibly know what she was thinking. But you are certainly free to continue to speculate on what you believe to have happened.
              Haymon has the relationship with Stephen Espinoza (CBS/Showtime), therefore he can deliver them what Showtime's interest in the fight is, and Haymon has his PBC project, where he can quote GYM what consideration PBC is willing to offer.

              GYM walks into any fight negotiation with Main Events having a good idea what their entire package is expected to look like (prediction on Canadian gate/sponsors/Canadian PPV/US TV money/other international money/etc), what they would expect as a fair share on the negotiations, and how much room they have to go to bid without risking their company too much.

                  Thats funny , cause I've seen some pretty hard core racist comments on this site towards blacks fighters of which u either seem to conveniently miss or selectively ignore . There have also been fighters (Kovalev) who have also done some very racist things , to which you've also been mum about . But when I did call Kov out for his antics you immediately swept in like a klansmen with a cape to call me a race baiter . So I must say , in earnest, that it's TRULY a badge of honor to be constantly called a race-baiter by a sh.t kicking , police loving racist like yourself . That's the only reason I haven't blocked u .

                    Exactly, so its more bums for less money. I understand, he won his first title at 36, is vulnerable and wants to milk it some more.

                    BTW why do you throw around bogus figures, esp around me? You know you'll get called on it. At least it's progress, 2 days ago Stevenson was gonna "split 4-5m with Karpency". Or is Karpency getting 1-2m, depending on Ppv upside lol

                      But that is exactly what we're saying about Golovkin.

                      Selects Monroe over Lara, because Monroe pays more LOL.

                      Flatly refuses a catchweight for Cotto/Canelo - despite demanding one from Ward - the result being that he will fight yet another bum for a vacant title.

                      I would think that the B-side should be more accomodating if he truly wants to fight.

                      The same with Kovalev..... good luck ducking a purse-bid, signing an exclusive network contract, and then trying to insinuate that you really want to fight.
