From 2012-Present Thurman has racked up a pretty nice resume. Once he KO'ed Chaves, a top 10 WW, was when he stopped being a prospect. He is young at 26, but not a prospect. Spence is 25, just 1 year younger but Thurman has 3 years worth of good names on his resume.

But Thurmans comments look flat-out ****** considering that the reasons he gave justifying why Spence does not deserve a fight with him, are the exact same reasons why he doesnt deserve a fight with Mayweather.

Spence can/should work his way toward Thurman level fights, but until Thurman fights top competition he should STFU about Mayweather.

Also, Thurman should never be allowed to fight an opponent whos name starts with S
What Mayweather wanted actually worked. He pointed the finger at Errol Spence for Thurman to fight, and guess what happened? Look what fickle fans are talking about now. Thurman vs Spence, without Spence having 1/3rd of the resume Thurman has. It was first Mayweather vs Thurman, now Mayweather successfully deaded that conversation. Pretty clever of him.

I like Errol and think he will turn into a fine exciting boxer, but he's too green for this fight. However, if it does get made, I don't think he'll bum it up at all, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he won.
