Bronze bumber is going to shi.t himself the closer the date gets, his daddy Al will try everything possible to evade the fight, but this time its not vs some small promoter with no backings, this time its against a equal opponent, the russians wont back down and this fight has to go down. Damn i had no idea "Your" american HW champ would be such a pussay.

lol unbelieve, so do you have an inside scoop that deontay is scared and trying to put off the fight? Negotiations start in October. You must be a huge Tyson fury fan you sound like one.

My guess is it'll be a drugs-related excuse Wilder's team come up with. Maybe they can say they won't fight in Russia because they don't believe there's fair testing there. The WBC are using VADA at the moment, maybe they'll offer full VADA testing but Wilder's side will reject that due to some flimsy excuse and insist on only USADA doing the testing. Either the WBC or Povetkin's team won't budge so Wilder will vacate and instead fight Arreola.

I really just think too much money is gonna be at stake here for Wilder to do anything besides fight Povetkin, on PBC or off PBC. If this fight doesn't happen for some PBC reason Wilder's career earnings are taking a massive hit.

This, or Haymon will try to secure a unification fight with Wladimir in the 'States. Frankly, though, that'd make little sense - not only would Wilder make more $$$ fighting in Russia, it'd be against a 'worse' boxer than Wladimir.

Boxing in Russia is big business. They are trying to establish boxing as a huge sport over there, and with the champions theyve recently acquired, they could probably pull it off. A heavyweight champion would be extremely marketable, and an undisputed rematch with Wlad would sell crazy. They dont shy away from spending because they practically dont care, not with those Gazprom links...
You add the ruble crashing and Russia basically being in recession now, methinks that you're overselling the Gazprom story.
