  • Past middleweights you're certain would beat GGG

noticed a thread earlier about past prime middleweights and people were arguing about who would win GGG or Hearns/Duran/Hagler

I'll make a poll but I don't want to forget any past greats with multiple voting so get some names going and tell me how each fight breaks down for either man,I'm sure theres some GGG fans out there that think he's the best middleweight ever aswell

I don't know if he'd win, I'd probably favor him though... Kelly Pavlik, that would have been a great fight.

      Sugar Ray Robinson?
That's my best bet, he had the chin to take the best GGG has to offer possibly and give more questions to answer than anyone could possibly give.

I was going to say Marvin Hagler but I think that is a tough one to say who wins.

Sure a small Duran would give him a problem... That is a fight that is just catered to GGG, If Duran could bring his form from lightweight up to middleweight then yes I agree but you know damn well that he can't because of his physical limitations that he met he was facing much bigger guys than him.

Hagler sure he has a shot but Hearns nah, Hearns is way too chinny.

GGG has not beat anyone you people swallow hype so easy , let him fight and beat some elite guys then start talking right now there are lots of great MWs in history that would most probably beat him , so far GGG has not proved anything other than he can beat B level MWs .

It's tough to say because his competition isnt hat great, I have no clue what he looks like against a real challenge. For now I'd say most highly regarded mw would just based on the fact we've seen them win at top levels.

Hearns' glass chin is hyperbole on here.

I'd give GGG a fair shot to be competitive/victorious in many H2H fantasy matchups against many MW's of the past.

                Against the very greatest?

Still have to see him in with a true threat for me to give him the nod over them.

I like GGG. Quite a bit.

                He isn't quite there. Yet.

Donaire was the biggest possible fight that Rigo would have most likely his whole career even compared to the Lomachenko fight if it happens,Donaire before the Rigo fight had a really impressive resume with plenty of ko's of top ranked challengers.
he reminded me a bit of Roy Jones(so much speed and power, along with being very unorthodox)

Its funny when a fighter starts fading casuals tend to bypass all their achievements as if there never was a prime like they knew a bad loss was coming and the fighter never was a beast to begin with

Rigo beat the George Foreman of his division he has nothing else to prove
