Looking at how irresponsible Golovkin has been defensively in his last two outings, I could name a good amount. It's just hard to measure how much of it is him not caring/ or not being defensively equipped enough.

he reminded me a bit of Roy Jones(so much speed and power, along with being very unorthodox)

Its funny when a fighter starts fading casuals tend to bypass all their achievements as if there never was a prime like they knew a bad loss was coming and the fighter never was a beast to begin with

Rigo beat the George Foreman of his division he has nothing else to prove
Rigo is in the exact same position as GGG and to deny that is just blatant bias, nothing more I can add to that tbh.

He even has the same situation with Loma offering him a big fight
Just like Rigo so does GGG with Ward but at a different division

Both guys are trying to unify their division, really confuses me the bias of some of you on here.

Roy Jones Jr in his prime was the greatest fighter around. He could do it.

I think Monzon is overrated and would have lost (I know I'm opening a can of worms)

I think Bernard Hopkins would have been a close fight, with a BH win by SD or closely anyways.

Hagler could have done it, he's #2 middleweight for me (not including SRR), although styles make fights I think GGG would have been a very hard fight for him.

I wont mention SRR because he's from a far distant era, but if throw him in the same era and he could do it.

B-hop good choice, I think B-hop could definitely beat him I'd give him the more favorable chance over Roy; styles make fights and B-hop has the better style to beat him imo.

For starters Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, SRR, RJJ.... I like GGG to watch but come on he's fought no one even close to ATG level. He'd be in deep water against all of them.

But who has Rigo fought that is better... He fought the marquee name in Donaire but we all know GGG is aiming to do that with Canelo and Cotto but does that mean he is facing the hardest test?

Put it this way IF GGG got the Martinez fight the time Cotto did or earlier and flattened him (which he would have anyway) it wouldn't have stood for much because he missed the best years of him when he put Williams to sleep a bit like Rigo missing the best of Donaire.

Your criteria on deciding who is worthy of rating and who isn't is messed up, maybe you should think things through a little bit more.

What are you talking about bro? Donaire was at his peak when Rigo beat him. Rigo caught Donaire during his hall of fame run, not after. It looked like Nonito would never lose again prior to the Rigo fight.

GGG still lacks a elite fighter on his resume.

I know one at 168 who is willing though
