There is a BIG FCKERY going on in boxing right now. You have a great ass match up btw a legend and a rising star (Cotto-Canelo) but all people seem to talk about is that both of them are "ducking" golovkin.

You have this guy that's been proving himself over and over again for 18 years over 5 different weight classes but people now are talking about Floyd having to prove himself against golovkin.

Meanwhile all of this is happeing GGG himself has a real challange waiting for him one weight class above and people are not asking for that to happen.

This is all just a big ole fckery and i wish Lemiux would end the hype with a KO. I am tired of this sht.

Cotto and Canelo are the ones to blame for " ducking ggg" look.They are fighting in middle of jmw and mw division for mw belts. If they would keep fighting at jmw nobody would say they are ducking ggg.


Floyd is an active fighter wich mentions his name as TBE every day.You cant do it and expect people wouldnt demand you to fight dangerous fights...if Floyd have said to the public "people let me alone i just want to a couple of easy fights at the end of my career" nobody would bring GGG's name.But Floyd didnt say it.He keeps saying he is TBE

team ggg are not going to be able to ignore this fight. its turning into the new mayweather pac yes ward kovalev would be good but ggg ward would be so much bigger and flat out better. loughler knows if and when ward and kovalev fight happens it will completely kill a ggg ward fight as well unfortunately. i mean i just dont get why ward has to be a complete no maybe in 2 years which is exactly what they said 2 years ago if anyone remembers

Canelo and Cotto won't fight Golovkin. Neither one has ever weighed more than 155 lbs. at the weigh-in. Why would they fight a dangerous 160 lber.?

Cotto and Canelo can't possibly ever move up 5 lbs to fight Golovkin. Golovkin is a coward if he doesn't immediately move up 8 lbs and fight a dangerous 168 lber. Makes sense.

The PR around this is embarrassing and it really doesn't need to be.

It is a great matchup between p4p guys, but one guy is still gaining momentum and chasing big fights at his own weight class while the other guy is shaking off ring rust and trying to get back into the picture. The fight makes more sense in a year or two anyway.

If it wasn't for Loeffler's poor PR skills, we wouldn't have to see 10,000 articles and threads about NOTHING.

Canelo will move up to 160, Oscar said. Canelo is growing and getting bigger. His body can not make 154 anymore without being drained.You will see him at 160 soon.

not really. After unification GGG moves up to 168 and in the meantime Ward fight Kovalev, after Ward(most likely) beats Kovalev he fights GGG.

i think all this time GGG will wait for Canelo to make a super fight.in 2-3 years Canelo and GGG will be bigger names than they are now . So this fight makes sense even though ggg will wait 3 years.

Canelo will move up to MW after 1-2 fights with Cotto. First off all the top JMW's are with Haymon. Second off, after Cotto, Golovkin is the biggest money fight out there for Alvarez - unless you believe there's a possibility of a Mayweather rematch.

In the meantime Golovkin could have a big fight in the UK with the winner of Lee/Saunders, he has a mandatory vs Tureano/O'Kane, maybe Quillin/Jacobs, and maybe Froch comes back and fights him in the UK.
