Come on ffs. If team GGG even mentioned Heiland people like you would cram it back down their collective throat. Virtually everybody would rather see Lemieux-Golovkin than Lara-Golovkin. If GGG beat Lara he would probably not get credit for it and if he lost he would lose all credibility and all the while he would make hardly any money - once Lara has a belt or actually can bring some money that fight could be made.

Golovkin is 33 and six months now. I figure he has possibly another 18-24 months in his prime depending on how ****** up he gets in the ring. Actually I think he may be past his physical prime now but his experience will temporarily mask that.

He's looking to 1/ maximize his earnings and 2/ create a legacy ... In that order! Fighting Lara does neither. The only reason to take Heiland or Johnson is if they become mandatories or as a stay-busy fight as Golovkin says he likes to fight 3/4 times a year.

Golden did sign off on Salka and Herrera......... And while I did score the fight in favor of Peterson, why'd you leave his name out ?

Petersen as well. He was managed by Haymon when he fought Matthysse.

he was at that moment under Haymon but was still signed to GB.Because Peterson isnt top fighter like Mattysse or Khan Garcia already beat.

That still doesn't change the fact that GBP signed off on his fights. They could have shelved him like TR did with Jr and Garcia. They instead chose to profit off his fights. And Peterson isn't a top fighter? I wouldn't classify Salka or paulie as one either but you named them lol Peterson is better name than those two and was still a top 140 fighter despite a loss to Lucas.

Ward has no belts. Ward had his knees buckled in the sixth round by 'Tomato Can Smith', in his own home town arena which was only half full. Ward has no right to even be in the ring with GGG right now. Why should GGG go down to fight Cotto or Canelo for the 160 pound middleweight belt. If Cotto or Canelo don't want to fight GGG then GGG will be given the belt. Going down for only Mayweather makes sense. Who wouldn't want to drop six pounds to fight Mayweather? In one more year you haters of GGG will be eating all of your words.

Every thing you say makes sense. I do however believe that GGG is one of those 'Aliens' and is just reaching his prime and will be in it for at least 3 more years. After 2016 GGG will own every middle weight belt in the world and will move up to fight guys like Ward, that is if Ward really has the balls.

What names have been called out, other than money fights (Froch in UK/Chavez) at 168?

That would certainly prove your point

As far as i see it, Golovkin only seems to want to move from his natural division if hes gonna get paid a lot to do so. Theres nothing wrong with that
